LKE Sound Bar

Well, I just got this thing hooked up. I am totally blown away!I downgraded from a 5.1 BIC Acoustech setup because my wife just couldn't understand why we needed so many speakers to watch movies. So after a LOT of fighting, we compromised. Sadly, my 5 BIC speakers are now collecting dust in the basement. But I digress...This speaker is a monster. I knew the size beforehand, but was still taken aback by how large it is. It's not the world's most attractive speaker (I wish it was glossy like my other BICs instead of the matte finish), but it fits in nicely with our decor.The sound from this soundbar is totally unbelievable. I'm comparing this to our Sony HTCT100 soundbar, and it's not even in the same league. With the Sony, I never could hear dialogue clearly and the subwoofer was a complete joke. With this (paired with my BIC H100), it sounds a million times better.Dialogue is crystal clear, and the soundstage is incredible. Honestly, this rivals my 5.1 setup I just put in the basement. Sure, it doesn't replicate full surround sound like that did. But for a soundbar, this is in its own league.I demoed a Klipsch SB1 soundbar and sub, and I thought that sounded amazing. For $500. This, paired with the H100 and my HK 1700 receiver completely blows it out of the water. And this whole setup costs me $450 (I already had the H100).I literally can't believe I put up with our crappy Sony soundbar for so long. And I can't believe more people settle for run of the mill soundbars when this BIC exists in the world. If they heard it, there's no way they would choose anything else.I demoed the unit with the newest Rambo movie (the end, where he blows everyone up). It was unreal. And it got LOUD, and never distorted. The H100 is an unbelievable sub, and will shake your house if you let it. But it's musical and doesn't just rumble. It's the best sub for the money (and I've owned it for 7 years).I literally can't recommend this soundbar and sub combo enough. I bought it from Acoustic Sound Design for a great price and free shipping. They've been around a long time and are very easy to deal with.

I purchased the sound bar then I got the H100. I Should have been smart and got this deal. Little did I know that I would enjoy it so much.Great for Movies (I got it for my media room) and very good on music also. As a center speaker this sound bar would is amazing. When I redo my main viewing room, I will set another up along with some BIC tower speakers, i'm a fan now! . This system is paired with a HTPC (home theater personal computer) & receiver and a projector. Great now for movie night.When the base kicks in and the voice is clear you will understand why I enjoy this setup so much.

I wanted a sound bar and sub combination for my living room and wide alreadysaid no to floor standing speakers. I tried Energy sound with an 8" sub andfelt like I wasn't getting my money's worth. Hours of research later I cameacross BIC FH56 and started looking. I ended up with FH56 and H100 sub from Acoustic Sound Designon eBay. It took about a month or so to break it in, and has been my pride and joy since.My room is 20 by 30, with its 8ft. sound stage FH56 has no problem filling the room and beyond,while H100 adding that 24Hz low reaching base.One thing, I wish I had asked about PL200 though.

Looking for a quick fix for a HT setup? Get yourself a good 5.1 or 7.1 receiver and you are set! Great sound on both items here for dirt cheap. For those of you that know your a/V products, ask the seller to replace the BIC H100 sub for the BIC PL200 sub and get an even BETTER deal! The PL200 is a smoking hot sub and in this package, is an absolute steal! Spread the word. Look it up on the AVS forums... You can not go wrong for these prices guys!
