Works great, and much better quality than the knock offs
Works great, and much better quality than the knock offs. I do wish they included the cable, it just seems odd.

I wish good third party 87w adapters existed
I wish good third party 87w adapters existed. But they don't, so I am buying the real thing for now. Don't be fooled by all the ones that say 87w on amazon -- most of them are 60w and will charge your laptop very slowly. If you look at the reviews for the so-called 87w adapters out there, you'll see people posting screenshots showing they're just 60w. I see a few out there that may be a legit 87w adapter, but none of them have an attractive enough price discount yet for me to be interested in testing their product out. Might as well get the real thing if the Apple one is $65 on Warehouse Deals and the 3rd party one is $55. But, overall, like anything Apple, it's expensive but it works perfectly. Recommended.

Big Bucks but No Fail
I've been buying Apple for over 10 years now. They are pricey and everyone knows that. I have never had a computer power adapter they've made fail. I have used between my children, wife and I over 8 laptops from the MacBook Air, MacBook, 3 MacBook Pros. Occasionally a cord becomes a bit less responsive and may need replacing. (And that goes especially for the iPhone.) I'd love if I could use this as a fast charge for the iPad Pro 10.5....but it has too much juice so off I go to order a 27 Watt USB-C. One of my power cords isn't used much - so I'll double with that :-) But this is looking like old reliable!

Best Multi-Device Charger
...arrived like I purchased it new directly from Apple. I use it to charge my iPhone and iPad. Even though the wattage is for MacBook Pros, the charger adjusts output based on what my iPhone XS Max and iPad can handle so I get to take advantage of super fast charging without damage. This feature also enables me to carry one charger for multiple devices, which is very convenient. I have no tried this charger on an Apple Watch because I'm nervous to experiment with such a small device...use my iPad charger for that to charge it up fast.

Expensive piece of necessary hardware
If you have one of the newer Apple MacBook Pro laptops, you need a charger. This is the same charger that you can order directly from Apple or pick up in any Apple store. It does not come with a USB-C charging cable, so you'll need to buy one separately (an extra $20 if you buy from Apple). Unlike past chargers, it does not come with an extension and can only be used as a wall-wart. If you have an older charger, you can remove the plug from this one and swap in the old-style extension cable to give you some distance between the charger and the wall. It does not have fold-out wings to wrap cables around like the older chargers. It works well. One star off for not including a cable or an extension.

Pricey but no risk and works well.
Handles all the transforms so you just need to change the plug type if traveling. Can pull the prongs off and switch out for the three pronged cord extender. Yeah, it's expensive, but it's very high quality, as is typical of most apple products. USB-C is in a bit of a weird spot at the moment, so I don't trust random no-name adapters.

A product of the new Apple, don't fall for it!!
The new Apple: Give less, charge more! This charger has removed MagSafe adapter and the cord-wrap wings. And although it looks like it's the same price as past adapters, it actually costs over $100 because you have to by a cable, and it no longer includes the extension cord always included with previous adapters. So if you need it, make sure to buy on of them too. I know that not everyone uses the extension cord and maybe it shouldn't be included, but in that case they should charge less, not more! Steve Jobs charged a premium for great engineering, but the new Apple just charges the premium. No great engineering, just massive steps backwards! I will no longer be an Apple customer given that they are just riding on the coattails of the Apple of the past. The company is clearly not able to deliver what they used to. Oh, and don't buy the Macbook Pro with TouchBar that this charges either. It is unusable because of that new, extremely poor engineering! I'd recommend following the millions of Apple users who are running away from the new Apple.

You get what you pay for: safety, lack of interference, computer lifetime...
The internet is full of off-brand power adaptors marketed as alternatives to costlier OEM chargers from major brands like Apple, Samsung and HP. But if you do a quick search you'll find teardowns from people like Ken Shirriff that show exactly why cheaper chargers are cheaper: hasty design, risky safety engineering, marginal components, interference-inducing layouts, equipment-endangering outputs. The safety issues Shirriff identifies should be enough to convince any sensible consumer that their lives aren't worth a savings of a few dollars. Name brands became name brands by doing several things right, starting with not electrocuting their customers. Think about that as you shop!

Works like a charm!
Power adapter works like a charm. Only issue might be the plug itself (not the most ideal plug - and no other plugs were added). Still good value for money! It would be nice though, to have a USB-C cable added!
