Great for diabetics!
Since my husband shouldn't eat rice, pasta, potatoes and other starches except in limited quantities, I (the cook) like to serve Bob's Red Mill Farro. Its net carb content is lower than other carb foods. Directions say to rinse before cooking, but since this is organic and packaged in a clean facility, I have not needed to pre-rinse.

Very flavorful.
Cooked it in a rice steamer with chicken bouillon broth and it turned out great. It took quite a while to cook but everyone loved it. A welcome substitute to rice.

Nutritious and tasty.
I love this! It's nice to be able to eat something that's so good and healthy for you, that also tastes really good. Great way to get in your fiber for the day. I use it in soups, as well as a side dish. YUM!

I love this stuff
Quite delicious and very chewy when cooked. This is the first time I have tried it. Made it into a “gruel” similar to making oatmeal. Doesn’t taste like oatmeal, but it’s just as filling. Next, I will use it in a soup or stew. It’s got kind of a nutty-ness to it.

very good taste
This product is an old grain and has a nutty flavor that I like. It is also very healthy unlike things like white rice and white flour.

It’s delicious, nutritious and vegan
I’m doing my best to eat as much plant based food as possible. I still eat some salmon occasionally. The farro is delicious and I use it to make grain bowls and a delicious autumn salad with roasted sweet potatoes and other veggies. It’s easy to cook and I can make enough to use for future dishes. I just put it in Tupperware and it keeps for a while. No bugs. The texture is great, kind of chewy which I love. And it was reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.
