I used this set to rebuild the 2 piece driveshaft in my 20 year old F-350. Living in the rustbelt everything was stuck. Prior to purchasing this I was using my shop press and it would take over 6 tons of force before the u joint would finally break loose. This tool set made removal and installation much smoother. I used a 1/2" impact on the removal tool and it still looks brand new. Make sure to get washers for using the yoke removal tool, the heads on the 5/16" bolts I bought were a little small.

It is worth it to pay for a more expensive tool if they are going to work properly and efficiently. I tried the Chinese knockoff to save some scratch, but in the end wound up buying the quality tools anyway. The cheep Chinese tools failed and bent on the very first try removing a Ford F150 rear u-joint. I was mad it failed, but really wasn't surprised. Worst thing about the whole deal was I was showing off my new tool to a friend, and that same day tried to change the u-joint on his truck only to have it fail in front of him too.

I love everything about this set. The price was a bit much but the tools are a must have to quickly replace u-joints or pull them for towing.
