I run a small, private support group for people who are trying to stay clean. Most drug test cups and dips basically work the same: You either add urine to a cup or you dip the test strips into urine; then you wait a few minutes and read the results. Over the years, I’ve tried many different brands to test my group members, but I have more faith in the Identify Diagnostic’s brand—and in this cup in particular—because it is more sensitive, accurate and precise than other tests and because other cups and dips only test for morphine/opiates down to 2,000 ng/mL, while these cups test all the way down to 300 ng/mL. So if you purchase another cup that only has a cutoff limit of 2,000 ng/mL and the person you are testing has morphine in their urine at 1,500 ng/mL, the other cups won’t detect it. BUT THIS CUP WILL, BECAUSE IT TESTS ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 300 ng/mL!! When a person does drugs, the level of drugs in their system (and therefore the level of drugs in their urine) gradually decreases with each passing day. So this cup is not only capable of detecting drugs at LOWER LEVELS than most other cups and dips out there, but because it tests for drugs at lower levels, it is also capable of detecting drug use LONGER than most cups and dips out there! On top of this test being more sensitive than other tests, it is also cheaper than most other tests, so it’s a win-win situation and that is why I’ve given it five stars and taken time to write this review. I really like this product and I think you will too!

I take drug tests randomly at home, administered by my mother. The reason being that I have struggled with drugs since 13. Of course having a daughter who is an addict in your home is hard, they want me to be safe and healthy but they also refuse to let me use in their home. Ever since getting sober, I've bought drug tests for my parents. This way, when they think I'm using, they can simply find out right then and there. It has made earning back trust after a year of sobriety much easier. But, with any drug test, false negatives do happen. So if your loved one insists that they have not used, leave the drug test out to dry because the lines will become clearer as they dry. Then if it still looks positive for drugs, let them test again. If it's still negative, they're probably using. But going to a lab will help you find out for sure. I've only had one false positive ever, and after waiting an hour and re testing, the truth came out and of course I was clean. Good luck to anyone buying drug tests, substance abuse is a difficult thing to deal with.
