Rear Suspension Control Arm Trailing Arm Bushing Tool Removal Tool Kit for Auto Bushing Press Kit

I used this tool to remove the rusty, rear trailing arm bushings from my 2002 Ford Focus wagon. I did completely remove the trailing arms from the car, but kept them connected to the wheel hub. Greased the screw jack on the tool, hit the bushings with Kroil and then used a cheap, electric impact wrench from Harbor Freight to work the bushings out. This tool pushed them right out with no effort in seconds! Flipped to the install side and the tool pushed the new bushings in, again, with no effort. Made this job go real easy! Now that my bushings have been replaced, I don't need this tool. Anyone interested?

This tool worked perfectly removing and installing the trailing arm bushings on our ‘09 Focus. Just as advertised. HOWEVER Be sure to start by removing the internal snap ring. There is ball bearings with two races under there. Mine were bone dry. Greased it up and had it back together. DO NOT USE AN IMPACT.

1st one was cross threaded out the box, got a replacement and it seemed fine, took me awhile to use it so could not return!!!! It pressed the one side and cross threaded just like the other one was, so I can't press the other side, worst product I've bought from Amazon!!!!

Ohhh yea!!!!! If you have a Mazda 3 or 5 this tool will make your life a breeze, no shop press, random sockets not even a hammer needed. I’m happy with my purchase.

I used this once when I put in new struts in the rear. I took out the rear arm as well and when I tried to use the tool, it would spread out. I left it alone since the bushings still looked good but you will need a metal clamp for the slit socket so it doesn't spread out causing a problem when you try to get the bushing out. It's the correct tool but that split socket needs to be improved.

This tool worked great to remove rear control arm bushing from a Ford Focus without removing it from the vehicle. There are a couple of YouTube videos out there to show you how it works, Just make sure that you thoroughly grease the drive screw before use.
