This key case is excellent and fits your original key parts , including the pcb correctly. Anyone looking for a fresh key case can go for this piece.

Do not buy this. The case never fully closed, and it has drained my battery twice in just a few weeks. It’s a gamble every time I try to start my car. I’ve tried reaching out for a replacement but haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone. Very disappointing.

Works fine as a replacement for my broken OEM shell which no longer stayed together. This doesn't have the BMW logo on the button as some have reported, at least not anymore. The case snaps together unlike the original one which was glue so you can't combine the back of the replacement shell with the front of the original one. It doesn't feel as high quality in the hand as the original, but works as described. As noted in the images, be mindful of the small spring inside. It's not glued on so if you lose it, the button to release the cut key will not work.

Broke BMW X3 key fob case when trying to replace battery. Oops! But the insides were still good so I went ahead and purchased this case in hopes that we could avoid going to the dealer who quoted over $500 for a new key fob. This totally worked! You have to still have the insides, but all the pieces and the battery fit perfectly (no battery provided; we had one already). So for a fraction of the cost, we have fixed our problem. Amazing! Case doesn't seem that sturdy (although neither was the original), but all that matters is that our key fob works again! (P.S. Did not come with BMW sticker for case.)

After the case was broken by a shop changing the battery inside, we thought we were going to have to live with a key that was all taped up so it would not fall apart. We took our chances on this and it worked much better than expected! If it helps, we have a 2017 330e. Highly recommend AND like another review stated, the BMW emblem is on this item - even though it's not in original pictures of it.

Hardest part is getting old renote apart since basically glued together. Old slot ket fits nice and snug in this replacement case. Definitely cheaper than new remote. My old remote the slot key would easy fall out and was afraid would lose the fob. Much better now. No gaps with factory slot key and after market csse. Perfect for a 2014 BMW 535i
