This filter works great for my ice maker.

For my 2nd LG refrigerator with ice maker, but no built in filter. Easy to install.

The water filters were easy to install and work great. Water tastes like 'nothing' as water should. I'm very pleased with this product.

I bought three of these, used one under our sink for a smaller drinking water tap. Used one for the ice maker in our freezer. Used the last one on a camping trip to filter the camp site water, along with a submersible fountain pump. It was much faster, cheaper and less of a hassle to deal with than using our Brita water filter container! I used 1/4-in copper tubing from the pump that was suction cupped to the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket, straight into the quick connect on the filter with a flexible, vinyl, quarter inch tube coming out the other side. Every morning, I would walk down to the shared campground water tap, fill up the 5 gallon bucket, bring it back to camp, crack the lid on our cold water cooler, slide the flexible tube in, plug the pump in and walk away. 20 min later I had 5 gal of bottled water quality drinking water. Pump was 850gph size. Any less than that I feel would not be able to push the water through the filter.

I use this filter instead of the frig filter. My refrigerator is older and the filters are outrageously expensive, if I can find them. So glad these are available
