Covers smell like when hot, fresh asphalt is being put down. I personally reccomend these be used for outdoor applications. The one cable pass thru will accommodate a 5/8th inch hose and a 120V electrical power cord. They can be stabilized as they have indents along the perimeter that are meant for anchor points... I just received these today (8/11/24), but they are as advertised and I believe they will work to protect items covered in my driveway. They are advertised to protect items from damage up to 18000 lbs

These didn't even last three months. They also still smell so bad that if you had them inside of your garage you would have thrown them outside because you wouldn't be able to stand the odor.

They work perfect

The channel protector ramps were as described except for one 'detail' they appear to have been used. So why didn't I return them. They are lightly used and they are perfect for what I am using them for. They are the only item I could find that worked. The channel is a perfect fit for a 5/8 " water hose and the protector is strong enough to withstand a 3,400 pound car being driven over it multiple times per day. As others have noted if you plan to use inside, you will have to let them remain outside for a few days to get rid of the strong odor. Secondly, the cardboard container was not strong enough and they arrived falling out of the box.

I use these at the entrance to the garage to run hoses to the other side. Work great. Third set I have purchased.

The smell is unbearable.I needed something this size to cover a large EV charging cord in my garage and these are ideal. They fit over a half-inch cord easily and are very sturdy if a little industrial looking.When they were delivered to my front door, the chemical smell emanating from the box was overwhelming. I can only assume the UPS drivers van smelled bad for days. When I put them in my garage, an hour later the intense rubber/chemical smell was so bad my eyes watered and I put them outside. I washed them twice with a strong cleaner and set them in the sun. Almost no difference. I left them outside in the rain and sun for almost a month and I can still smell them from 25 feet away if it’s warm. I don’t know what awful combination of evil chemicals went in to these things but they are so far unusable in any enclosed space.They are still sitting outside in hopes the smell will eventually be low enough to use them in my garage. Otherwise they are useless.Edit: a few weeks later. I don’t know what alien substance these things are made of but the chemical emissions have not abated and I fear for the health of me and my neighbors. I have placed these steaming strips of awful chemicals outside in the elements. For weeks, they have been rained on and baked in the sun. I have showered them with vinegar, which they laugh at. Fifty feet away, the horrific chemical odor permeates all through my yard, even upstairs on our deck the smell is gagging. I want to place them in an overgrown field behind my house but I’m afraid they will kill all the plants and animals nearby. I hope with coming higher temperatures that the leaching chemicals will be evaporated harmlessly though I fear they will only become bolder and my neighbors will soon become overwhelmed with the smell and take action against me. I cannot throw them away as I’m sure the garbage truck driver would call 911 once they were placed in the truck and overwhelmed even the putrid trash of the city. I am alone.

When they arrived it was apparent that the box had gotten dirty and wet a long time ago. When I opened the box, there was a bunch of mud/rust on the items. The hinges are just a long thin piece of steel Rod through the hinge holes. The hinge rod slides out very easily, as it isn’t secured in place at all. Aside from these issues, they are very heavy-duty and look nice. After you wash off the mud and rust.
