Each knob is hand made over an open flame, and annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability. Following the annealing, glass is cleaned and affixed to a metal component. Mounting hardware is included so upon arrival these items are completely ready to install. This is made from hand made artisan flameworked soft glass that has been heated and cooled to the point of revealing a variety of golds, yellows, and reds. They have then been heat swirled, annealed, cooled, and acid etched to reveal the color and grace of sea glass.
