my chairs did not have glides and were marking my laminate floors. After putting these glides in boiling water for 10 seconds they slipped on easily to my one inch rails. Very happy with my purchase!

I got couple of Chromcraft chairs (made in 1979 according to the tags) at Goodwill recently and had no clue what kind of floor protectors/floor glides to use on the chrome tubular body. Lots of digging around on google led me to these since the Marcel Breuer cane cesca chairs are so similar. I made sure to measure the chrome tube and follow the directions to let the glides sit in some hot/boiling water for a 10 seconds or so. They went on like butter! We've had no issues and they do allow the chair to easily glide across the floor when pulling or pushing.

They worked perfectly on the Breuer chairs. The original hole was for a smaller glide but once drilled out, the new ones worked perfectly.

I had 4 replacement glides for my breuer chairs that came from the company. I needed more and I wanted them quickly...enter Amazon. We broke 3 before getting one on. Very brittle. I am doubtful they will last long if we get anymore on. Buyer beware! It only 2 days to get this crap...that's the best thing I can say.

They actually were not a good fit for our cast aluminum chairs.
