Sorry I cannot comment on this as I have not used it. I bought to help with a CAT 5 repair but ended up using a differen coupler (une that used a punch in wire process rather than this type. It came fast and looks OK.

Nice splicing device
Needed to add a ethernet switch and this fit the bill without any speed loss. Did find it easier to strip the outer insulation longer than suggested in the instructions. This allowed me to thread the wires into the slots separately rather than try and feed them all at once. Trimmed excessive wire after final splice was made.

Super easy to use
Not quite tool-less, but this model requires no crimper or punch-down tool. The two sides are well marked. Just strip the outer jacket, insert the 8 un-stripped wires into the marked holes, and push the unit together. Worked for me the on the first try.

Faster to implement than other patches.
These are faster than other patches to implement. The only change they need is how the zip tie anchors, or to provide a clear method on how to attach it. That part really slows me down.

Great Product & Customer Service (especially)
I rarely write reviews, but the quality of customer service was so terrific, that I am compelled to write. The Seller was very helpful, informative, and supportive throughout my order! 6 stars****** Beyond the service, the coupler/splicer is very easy to use, very effective for splicing a Cat 6 cable, and very professional-looking once completed. Thanks Netsys...

LOVE IT! We had a need to repair and/or extend some cables that were disrupted during a seismic retrofit project. These worked PERFECT and all the cables passed their CAT6 integrity tests. Color me happy.

Unique ethernet inline coupler - splicer
easy to useallows connecting two pieces of cable if extension is needed with very small loss of signal as compared to using snap in coupler
