Plantar Fasciitis Survival Guide

This Method Works!
I had struggled with chronic and very painful Plantar Fasciitis in one foot on and off and one foot at first on and off and then continually for at least 3 years. I tried rocker shoes and a variety of foot beds and rolling on a ball to treat the condition without success. Finally I researched and purchased this book a few years ago. I purchase a jade scraper, a wood foot roller and a lacrosse ball and followed the treatment a few minutes a day. As I went through the prescribed treatment in the book it became clear to me that my calf tightness was not allowing the Fascia to heal (no pun intended) I was at first skeptical of the scraping, but it most definitely loosened my calf and was critical to the healing process. It seems counter intuitive, but the problem was actually with the calf not the foot. First one foot healed in approximately a month and the second more problematic foot got to about 98% within 3 months. I combined this with hot jets directly on the fascia in a jacuzzi tub and finally healed the second foot. This was two years ago and the problem has not returned. I can now run again at full force and speed without injury. Thank you to the Author, this greatly improved my quality of life.

RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AS PART OF ANY PHYSICAL FITNESS GURU'S FIRST AID KIT
I could write a very long piece here praising this book and the helpful information and aid it offers anyone who has this ( plantar fasciitis ) or who knows someone suffering from it or of course just someone interested in proper treatment for it.Briefly, I am a 57 year old male and have held physical fitness as part of my life since a young teenager. About a year ago I messed up my feet after altering my tried and true running style so to speak and eventually this lead to pf. This book was the pure prescription for the cure. I do not like to use artificial means to heal so this book really fit into my style well ( yep, no drugs and natural healing--the best way ).Best part of this, is it is also helping a really cool young man William Prowse (IV) ( author of the book ), through his medical education in college. He had pf, and had seen numerous professionals without any significant results and this resulted in him pursuing means to cure this himself ( of which he did ! ) He now shares this with us and also has great video tutorials on YouTube that go along with the chapters in the book. So, get the book, read it, be patient, believe, heal and help this young cool fellow ( we need folks like him in the medical field ! )sincerely---- Robby Clark

Highly recommended I got PF 1
Highly recommendedI got PF 1.5 years ago and I have never in my life felt such pain. To make a very long story short I did a lot of googleing and happened to come across this book. The most important lesson I got from it so far is that you cannot trust that health professionals such as a GP or a chiropractor will be able to help you, you have to be your own therapist. I’ve also learned the tecniques in the book, but so far not been able to do them over time. I have met many people with PF though, and I tell them about the book and the tecniques.I've tried most existing treatments, except operation, but nothing has helped. In the beginning I did the exercises in the book, but then I also got pain, redness and swelling around the ankles, legs and thighs. Nobody knew what it was until I came to an orthopedic surgeon who said that I should have been sent to him six months ago. “It is inflamed nerves due to walking incorrectly over time and it is classic with PF”, he said, and it would not go away until I got customized insoles and start walking correctly. “You don’t notice that you are walking incorrectly and it only gets worse if you do nothing about it”, he said.I can finally say that the inflammation is decreasing, and I have a small hope that I can start to walk a little bit this summer. My dream is to be able to do a little hunting in the autumn with my dog.I've decided that when I have not thought about my feet for about six weeks, and the nerve inflammation is gone, I will resume the exercises from the book.I’ve also benefited greatly from the YouTube videoes and the website, especially the articles regarding shoe selection. Thank you William!

Most comprehensive guide to PF.
First of all, kudos to this sincere medical student for really understanding what seems to go over most MDs heads...First do no harm. I read all the free information he had on Amazon and on his website first, as having paid twice as much for less than half the helpful information, I was kinda leery about getting burned again. Most everything I saw and read on his website was similiar to my experiences with PF over the past year or so. Foot massages in general and particularly the ART and Graston Techniques performed by my chiropractor were really healing, really fast. What the author really does, is save you the time, trouble and money of having to find out the hard way that most "foot doctors" (MDs) are really pretty worthless for this condition. He then goes on to show you what really does work, and even how to do a lot of it yourself as best you can with what you may already have available at home. This really gave me the confidence to try some of what I had seen my chiro do on my own. This guide can save you hundreds of dollars and months of needless pain and suffering. Hopefully this young man doesn't get corrupted by the Medical Industrial Complex, and continues to seek out and practice real medicine in his practice as well as his guides.

Helpful ideas
Having had plantar fasciitis for over two years, I found the author's website and then bought the kindle version of this book. It is only suggestions of what he has found helpful for himself, but when you suffer from this pain, which is so bad that you cannot walk at all sometimes, you are interested in any new ideas that may work. Much of what is in the book is on the author's website, but I bought it for the extras and also as a way of saying thank you for the help. My PF is very much better now thanks to this information and a physiotherapist rather than my doctor. The spelling in the version I bought and the website was very poor but I wondered if the author has dyslexia? ( If so, brave effort!)

Nothing in the book you couldn't find on google for free
I bought the book mainly for the section on taping only to discover that it linked to a video on you tube which no longer exists there. The author claims to be of a highly educated background but the number of spelling and grammatical errors makes me question his background and in turn some of the methods passed on in the book. My background in holistic therapies including massage and reflexology strongly questions the use of cooking spatulas and spoons to "rub" the trigger areas. Wish there was an option to claim the money back... it was £7 but I wouldn't even recommend it even if it was free. Seriously try another book.

Save your money it's a Rip Off.
Save your money it's a Rip Off.67 pages of large print and wide margins. No information that can't be found on the internet. Strange suggestions such as positive thinking, lose weight (in three days?) and then the final suggestion - that did cure her - a 'Chiropractor.'Eleven pounds to be told to use a Chiropractor. I can't believe anyone has the nerve to charge for this book. You have been warned.
