My usual preferred method of applying foundation in the past has been with a makeup sponge, which I also highly recommend from Real Techniques! But I decided to dip into the face brush application method, starting with these brushes. I LOVE them for just starting out. The flat brush applies my liquid products very evenly with little to no product lines. The wide fluffy brush is GREAT for dusting off my excess translucent powder and applying blush. The little concealer brush has been helpful so far with making sure concealer gets into the little parts of my eye that is sometimes hard to cover. The little cup is a nice added bonus and does not take up much room at all. All around, this set is great and I would recommend it to anyone, no matter if they’re just starting out or for daily usage.

I'm kind of a beginner with makeup, I haven't used the Real Techniques brushes for the face but I had used the ones for your eyes and I just want to say that I had to throw away my old brushes, lol. The Real Technique brushes are so soft and they blend your eyeshadow on so evenly and beautiful. I can see a TOTAL difference in my eyes from before I purchased Real Technique brushes. I was skeptical of the price but my older sister kept insisting me to buy it. I just want to say that I'm glad I listened to her.

I had a similar set already. I got this set for the detailer brush, and it's worth every single penny. The contour brush and the powder brush are good. My previous set has held up well. The new foundation brush is strange. But definitely workable.

The brush assortment in this Real Techniques "flawless base" set is practical and good quality. I'm not particularly skilled at makeup application, so I enjoyed the Real Techniques tutorial on You Tube and also like that the brushes have multiple functions. The dome shaped contour brush works great for applying my Bliss powder contour makeup, and I also like it for a soft blush application. The larger buffing brush gives me an even application of my Lancôme Dual Finish powder foundation (I like a sponge when wet), and it also works well for blending everything together well without any streaks. I don't wear liquid foundation, but I like the dense bristles on the square brush and find it versatile enough to use to apply my Butter London bronzer, Bliss contour makeup and Japonesque mousse foundation. I have a larger Real Techniques concealer brush with denser bristles that I prefer for my dark undereye circles, but I like the small detailer brush for blemishes and also to apply concealer to the small inside area by my eyes that can get really dark. Aside from how well they work, I like that the brush bristles are cruelty free, soft, easy to clean and don't shed. The brushes should wear well given that my first Real Techniques brush (a stippling brush) I bought about 2-1/2 years ago is still in great shape. The cup is a nice bonus as it's slim but sturdy plastic that keeps my brushes organized and handy. It also barely takes up any space on my small counter, yet it holds this "flawless base" set, my favorite eye concealer brush and my sculpting set too. I'm really pleased with this Real Techniques flawless base set with a bonus brush storage cup and definitely recommend it. PS: I'm posting a photo to show how nice and compact the cup is and how much it can hold. The first four brushes (left to right) are the "flawless base" set, my favorite undereye concealer brush is the fifth brush (sold separately) and the last three brushes are from the sculpting set (sold separately).

Love Real Techniques above all other makeup brushes, even though I've used some better and more expensive brands like Sigma brushes. I love the bronze orange color of these brushes, their lightness, the feel of the brush against skin, the high quality - they don't shed at all! Not one single hair comes out of these brushes which is remarkable! - and they are super affordable. I wash them in a mix of Dawn Soap and coconut oil and warm water. They are excellent! I trust this brand and would always buy from Real Techniques.

For less than 9 dollars this is such a great investment! As a brush-freak, I’ve been loving Real techniques as much as many other expensive brushes. The set is awesome: The buffing brush is firm and dense, and perfect for any product: liquid, cream and powders, and it works so nicely for bronzer. I find the square foundation brush great for highlighters :) and the detailer is a multi-tasker: correct any small areas, brow highlighter, lip pencil… it’s one of my favorites without any doubt. This is totally off-topic, but the color is also so nice, so one star for the originality.

I love using real techniques brushes on my clients. They are work really well and are really easy to clean. Plus, they don't break the bank. They are very sturdy. This is actually a repurchase for me. I have all of their brushed in my collection. They last a long time as long as you take care of them. I would repurchase again.

As I was very pleased with other Real Techniques product I decided to buy this kit on a discount and I can say that these brushes are excellent as well. I was reading the comments and some users have said that these may be fake but I received the original ones, the only difference is the design, as it has changed over the years and the images in the product description do not match the product you receive, I went to a shop to make sure. The handles are sturdy and comfortable to hold, the hairs are soft and do not shed. They blend makeup easily and are just all-around excellent and affordable brushes. I would definitely recommend as they are to some extent multi-purpose brushes and can be applied to different tasks.

Ils sont doux, résistants, travaillent très bien les produits maquillage... Ils sont beaux, très faciles à prendre en mains même pour une débutante comme moi, j'ai acheté plusieurs kits chez real technics et... je les ADORE.
