Love this case, just put it on, it bulks it up a bit but I like that in my hand. Great hinge, magnetic fold out stand to keep it in place when not in use. Metal ring for the camera, cover for volume, open spot for finger print. Thicker material on the corners for drops and protection, I put a usb C plug on the bottom so dust/Debris can’t get in, they are cheap. Material is rubberized for a secure grip, love the clear back. I would buy it again.

Let me start this review by saying that I actually DO own the phone and I actually DID pay full price for this review. (I know, those are novel concepts for a lot of phone case "reviews"!) And unlike most case reviews this isn't going to be a useless one-liner. The case is pretty basic. It's a single piece that the phone snaps into. That said, it handles all of the requirements that I have for a case. The phone fits securely into the case; the case, while not particularly supple, is at least comfortable to hold and doesn't feel like it's about to slip out of your hand; and the camera, speakers, fingerprint sensor, and headphone jack (YES!! LONG LIVE THE HEADPHONE JACK!!) are exposed and the headphone jack opening does not interfere with any of the pairs of headphones that I plugged in. More importantly, the case gives the camera bump and the front screen 1 to 2 mm of bumper *above* the surface, meaning that the screen should never touch the surface when laid face down and the camera lens should never touch the surface when laid down on the back. The ~5mm thickness of the case around the edges means that it should survive most falls that end up impacting on the sides of the phone. If I have any gripe with this case, it's that the plastic feels a smoother to the touch than I like. I would like this case a lot more if it plastic was a bit softer or had an extra coating to make gripping it feel more secure. I also will never understand why so many cases including this one have SOLID BACKS. These phones can get hot quickly, depending on their use, and solid back cases only hold in the heat, which is exactly what you DON'T WANT. This case would be a lot nicer if it had a mesh on the back (think of the front of the 2019 Mac Pro) or some pattern that will still protect the phone because of the ~2mm thick shell while allowing the heat to dissipate away from the phone. Regardless, for the price this is an excellent, basic case for the Pixel 3a XL that serves its purpose without the bulk of something like an Otterbox.

It's big, thick, bulky but sturdy and very protective. If you are looking for a case that protects every inch of your device, then this is it. And honestly, its very affordable compared to other cases that cost twice as much and tout to have the same amount of protection-- they don't. I've dropped my phone numerous times from way higher than 5ft and aside from a few scuffs the case and the phone are perfectly fine. Great hinge protection that also doubles as a kickstand when you have the phone open in tablet mode. Only gripe is I feel the volume buttons are a little hard to press. I've had Ghostek cases for the Google Pixel 7, Samsung Flip, Google Fold, Google 9 Pro Fold and now the Google 10 Pro Fold. There is a reason I keep coming back to Ghostek.

Went with the smoked option this time since the clear cases keep yellowing on me. Case fits perfectly, buttons are snappy, seems like there is good protection for the screen and camera with the raised edges. I am satisfied with my purchase and seems like it will last a while. For $8, I'm not going to complain.

Love this company's products. This is my second case for this specific phone, and third purchase from this company. This was a direct replacement for the same case bought 2 years ago. Replacing because after 2 years the clear cover finally started yellowing and had stretched just a bit from everyday use. I was so satisfied with the case because of its protection, durability, low profile, and just the right amount of tack, I bought another one. Easy enough to slid in and out of a jeans pocket, super easy install, and quality of protection keeps me coming back to Ghostek products. Love this brand. Not too rubbery and not too slick. Just right. Affordable, quality, durable, and sufficient protection. Dropped my phone a lot and never a scratch or cracked screen while this is on it. A must have. Why spend lots of money on other cases, when this gives you all you need and more for a reasonable price. Will buy on future phones. Another customer for life. Keep up the great work guys!!

Great case but it falls off occasionally.

I just got myself a Pixel 10 Pro Fold and had to protect it. I wasn't very happy with the Ghostek case that I got for my 2023 Pixel Fold so I didn't have high hopes for this one but apparently the people at Ghostek learned from their mistakes. First of all the top of the case stays put. The previous one kept falling off the phone which meant it wasn't protecting the phone. This case protects my phone. I should know as I've probably dropped it a hundred or more times. Very arthritic hands require a good phone case because dropping is pretty much unavoidable. Another thing that I've noticed in this case as opposed to my first Ghostek case is that this phone does not overheat the way the 2023 one did. I had to trash my first Ghostek case as I was scared for my phone. It doesn't do any good to protect a phone from being dropped if it's just going to going to overheat and die. The ironic thing is that I only got the Ghostek case as a stand-in for the Dbrand case that I had ordered. I figured I would either return the Ghostek case or put it in a drawer as a backup once I received my Dbrand one. I had no idea the Ghostek one would grow on me and the Dbrand would become the backup to it.

Great protective phone case. Adds extra grip to the side of the phone. Excellent camera bar protection. Only thing I don't like is the back of the case is a fingerprint magnet. But overall, it's a great case.

too smooth and back clear plastic feels cheap and will not last... buy Ringke Onyx instead much better!
