TExES History 7-12 (233) Study Guide: Test Prep and Practice Questions for the TExES (233) Exam

The book is a very good comprehensive history book, I found a typo but no biggie. Unfortunately nothing in the book, flashcards, or quizzes were related to the actual test that I took :(It was like studying notes for the wrong class.I'll keep the book for my kids, but it didn't help with the test.

Overall, it is a great book. I studied both the black terms and the two practice exams. But, use the practice exams as guides, because they will not be the same questions when you take the actual one. The black terms was what helped me in the actual exam. Another tip would be looking over the book a couple times and you will pass. I took my exam a couple weeks ago and I passed on my first attempt.

Pretty bad. Lots of typos, poorly written, and hard to remember because it's basically "this happened, then this happened, then this happened, then this happened, then this happened, then this happened, then this happened..." Useful maybe for cramming right before the test, but not for learning about history.

This is a great book if you want to prepare for the Texas content exam for History. The practice tests in the back of the book are very helpful. They pinpoint your weaknesses and offer answer guides to help further understanding. The book is divided into sections; World History, U.S. History, Texas History, and Social Studies Foundations.I did fairly well on the first practice test. The individual should have no problem passing the test if they go over the book throughly.

Easy to read and I was able to read it quickly

I received my book about a month ago and started reading and studying it ever since. Given the content and study material I feel confident that this book will give me a very good chance to pass the test .

I love this book. It is organized, well written and provides a clear review of the test questions.
