Learning Resources Pop for Sight Words 2 Game

Love this! I use this in my school-based OT sessions for a variety of handwriting and fine motor activities. It is easy to adapt for different skill levels, making it simple to grade tasks up or down while keeping students engaged.

I love this!!! quality is outstanding!! great addition to add to your children or students learning. Helps with creativity, I homeschool year round and for spelling we play popcorn at least 2-3x weekly, I have my daughter draw five words from 🍿 and I ask her to write a sentence for each word. Helps with not only spelling but also writing skills. Additionally, for the words we’ve studied i create a weekly spelling list for repetition learning and we even use this for dictionary practice.. You’ll love this! homeschooling/ learning doesn’t have to be boring or stressful, be creative & take it one day at a time! 👍🏽

I am a reading tutor at the local elementary school. The teacher gave me this game to play with the students to help them learn their sight words. The words are printed on little pieces of cardstock popcorn. The kids take turns picking a piece out of the container, learning the word and building their popcorn stash. BUT if you get the piece that reads "POP" you have to put all your pieces back. I thought it was a cute idea but the kids LOVE it!! I came home and ordered a game for our Kindergartener for Christmas. Highly recommend.

Fun learning game

Wonderful game to play with sight words so fun kind of realistic children love to play it. They asked to play it. Fun way to learn their words educational easy to use.

This is a great educational tool! My 6 year-old son had already learned the first Pop for Sight Words (the one with the red stripes), so I was glad there was a Part 2. As a non-educator, I didn't know what words were appropriate for the next phase. Once he knew these words, he was in great shape for First Grade as far as reading books. These boxes would be great for the summer transition period (at least for us). It's too bad they don't have a Part 3. As far as the product, the chipboard "popcorn" pieces and box are very resistant to wear. We definitely got a lot of use out of it!

the kids at school love playing this game. they have learned some sight words from this game. when you make learning fun they wiil learn.

This is another great game from learning resources. I bought it for a 5 year old and he's just old enough to be able to play it. I love evening that learning resources sells, perhaps I'm a parent pleaser but I think games and role play toys are much more useful than anything else. I recommend this game to children 4-6 (early readers to late bloomers). I found that then popcorn-like design makes it even more attractive. There are other games in the series, for different abilities/ ages.

Great way for 4-7 to learn sight words. Available at different levels. This was age/skill appropriate

Excelente juego para aprender a reconocer las palabras mas usadas en inglés. Cada jugador saca una tarjeta, si la lee bien la conserva, si saca una tarjeta pop hay q devolver todas a la caja. Lo que hacemos ea ademas de leer la palabra usarla en una oración. Es divertido, educativo, de buena calidad y barato..yo lo pague 6,50. Muy recomendable.
