Great for travel
I bought this soft half foam roller to take on a trip. I have the full size version too. This half roller worked perfectly. It fit nicely in my suitcase.

This roller increased my pain
It's probably just me, as I am very thin, but I found gentle rolling of my sore calf on this well-made roller only irritated the nerves and made the area hurt worse. I now prefer to exercise without any devices at all, in a slow, Tai-Chi style.
