TEKNO R/C TKR4001 Brushless Conversion Kit Revo TKRC4001

This kit is great and makes an electric conversion so easy. The motor mount is replaced with one capable of holding even the biggest of motors while an aluminum shelf bolts onto the top of the transmission to hold your esc. After you remove your passenger side steering servo, the included receiver box sits right were the servo sat and is molded for an on/off switch and a whip antenna. A large battery tray with three velcro straps are long enough to hold a 6s lipo where the fuel tank and battery box were. After that you have to choose how your truck is going to brake and go in reverse. You can keep the included disk brake and servo activated reverse gear or you can have both of those managed by the motor. To do that you will need to install Traxxas' forward only conversion to eliminate the reversing gears and linkage. You will then have to lock the transmission in second gear to remove the one way bearing in the 1st gear which would make braking and slowing the truck through the motor impossible. Its a simple task and theres tutorials a plenty with a simple google search.I personally went with the forward only conversion with a locked second gear and i couldn't be happier. Braking with the motor is so much stronger than the disk brake and the forward only conversion has much beefer output gears. Just make sure you get a compatible pinion gear for your motor as the nitro revo uses a MOD1 tooth pitch spur gear while the factory made e-revo uses 32 pitch. They are NOT compatible.

Awesome kit, comes with everything to Bolt Directly into a revo 3.3. Instructions are a little weak but to be fair you shouldn't be doing a full blown e-conversion if you can't use your head a little. Motor mount is very solid just wish they had a easier method to fastening the adjustment screws. (Stock nitro motor mount) still a great kit, would recommend it to anyone that wants to electric. Stock ESC location was good but I 3D printed a second mount to clean up the wiring and keep it low.

Tekno knows what they are doing. I was expecting to mod somethings sightly but no, everything dropped into place as if it was designed by Traxxas. All high quality parts, I don't see anything breaking.

Great kit! Wish the receiver box was water tight, but other then that, the conversion was fairly simple.

The best conversion on the market. Buy it now, because tekno is out of the conversion business.

Product is great, durable and the instructions are second to none, so easy and had everything I needed in the kit.

Awesome kit bit pricey but well worth it
