These pans are currently made in China.

Q: Since when is 18 guage considered "Thick"? 12 Guage is Thick!

But in commercial baking pans they do not do like wire. Thickness is based more on baking results. Even results are better.

Q: What gauge is the aluminum sheet

The baking sheet is made out of strong, uncoated 18-gauge aluminum that stands up to high heat. The solid, rimmed edge also adds to its stability and strength.
