I’ve reached the point in life that I either need to go grey and be the silver fox I must be meant to be or accept the fact that I need to color my hair every 10-14 days. I’m not ready to look like the senior citizen I am so I bought this product to cut down on the expense of bi-mo they at home coloring. This stuff worked great. I bought the developer, saved the empty bottle from the $9 L’Oreal box color and followed the same procedure for coloring as I have countless times. Same results and lots of compliments from those who know how often I am forced to color my hair (get real; everyone knows). After a test drive, I ordered more and will continue until I am forced to face the inevitable fact that I am old and grey.

Beautiful gray coverage, but lighter than a standard 5.0 in my experience. Although it's more of what I'd consider a true light brown, whereas most that say light brown, end up dark. Do a test strip if you're in doubt, I have to redye my roots in order to get the dark brown I'm used to.

This hair color comes out perfect. Looks like it was done in the salon. (Only to you. Everyone else will think it's natural). Follow the directions on the box. You will need to purchase the 30 vol. developer too in order to use it. The developer bottle (I get 32 oz) lasts several applications as you will use a small amount with each application. Also get an applicator bottle. The bottle can be used many times if you clean it after each application. I started coloring my own hair at home for financial reasons. I was a little nervous at first but it is really easy. During this COVID time, I am especially glad I can do this at home. Now I need to learn how to cut my own hair. LOL

It did its job ,it is very black though not brownJust informing if u were looking for a dark brown black color,it's very black.
