The LifeVac is one of those things you hope you never have to use, but are so grateful to have on hand. Knowing I have this tool nearby brings me so much peace of mind.It’s easy to use, comes with clear instructions, and includes masks for both children and adults. I love that it doesn’t require any special training, and it works in seconds when every moment matters. Luckily, we have not had to use this device so far, but it makes us feel a bit more at ease with a baby that is just getting into solid foods. We take this on trips, just to have in case of an emergency. The device seems very solid and has multiple sizes for the face/suction portion. It's relatively straight forward, but again, haven't had to use it so I can't speak to the effectiveness. I do imagine that it's better than not having a suction device if choking were to occur.It may seem pricey, however should you ever unfortunately need it, I think it's worth every penny.

It works great, amazing for unclogging choking hazards, it’s very safe, size is just right, there is one for an adult, one for a child, and 1 for practicing which I think is great, the suction is there when using the practice one.

Story time. One evening I was home alone doing my normal nightly routine. Part of that routine is taking supplements before I go to bed. For whatever reason, my brain thought it was a good idea to speed the process and take all the supplements at once. Three of these pills were the extra-large fish oil capsules. Immediately, it went very very wrong. One or all got lodged in my throat sideways. I panicked because I couldn't breathe at all. Looking around for anything to help or try to figure out what to do. Nothing. I dropped to my knees on the floor and thought to myself - wow, this is the way I'm going to die... by fish oil. Pure terror. All of the sudden I gagged and it dislodged. I IMMEDIATELY researched the best device for choking. I'm not confident I could use the chair method on myself (obviously not what my brain went to first, anyway). Everything pointed to LifeVac Home Kit. I was still shaking as I hit "buy now". I read the instructions thoroughly and used the practice one on myself. It's now sitting right on my pantry shelf, easily accessible. (I actually took it on vacation with me as well). I am going to order another one for my car. The odds of it happening again- I realize are pretty slim, but just the security of this device in my home is so comforting. Side note *do not ever take more than one large fish oil capsule at a time

If you don't have one of these, you need to get one asap! I have a 10 month old learning to eat solids... Since I purchased this, I have used it twice and it worked like a charm both times. First time she got a hold of a sticker from her older brother and it got stuck in her throat and the second was a piece of strawberry and both came right up! This makes me feel confident that my child is safe from choking accidents and I don't need to panic!

Thankfully I have not needed to use this product yet. After watching an add for it on the internet someplace and it saving lives, I had to purchase this. Hopefully I’ll never need to pull it from its storage space, but just knowing we have it is well worth the cost. I would never forgive myself if I needed this and didn’t have it. If you are considering buying one, don’t wait, it’s worth the peace of mind.

Its simple to understand, easy to keep on hand, and comes with everything you need in case of an emergency. I keep mine in the kitchen where accidents are most likely to happen. You never think it’ll happen to you until it does. And I’d rather be prepared. Compact easy to store, no training needed. And
