I purchased this as I love having my windows open during the day, and night, but where I am renting they don't have locks that allow you to only open it a few inches. I wanted to be able to leave them open while still feeling safe. These are everything I could have asked for and more. I was worried about a few of the reviews saying the sticky tape wore down and it rendered them useless, but what I think they did was only use one of the tapes given. You need to use all of the tape - three for each item! They will NOT move at all once you do that. I've been able to have my windows open throughout the day and night, get some fresh air blowing through, without the worry of someone breaking in. I didn't really want to spend the money initially, but these are well worth the price. Piece of mind is priceless, safety is priceless. This company seems to be high quality and I'm thankful for my purchase. 10/10!

Easy to use and they stay in place.

It worked fine and was easy to handle but it doesn’t seem sturdy when it’s extended outward.

This is an extraordinary item, something that I did not even know existed until I accidentally found it on Amazon. The window shown in the picture has a broken piece of hardware that cannot be replaced. A new window seemed the only option. Lock it Block It is the perfect solution. Clear directions, easy to use, perfect fit, and an added bonus of additional security. I am VERY PLEASED!

Perfect for the job

I hope these to the trick, so I can leave my 1st story window cracked open in the nice weather. Sorry to say you need to have your guard up now-a-days. A little expensive for cheap plastic (pvc) crap. Gotta hold up against the summer sun and the winter cold. May need to come up with a better way to secure them other than 3 pieces of 2-sided tape? Until I found something better this might have to do. Still cheaper than a dog.

Finally I found a solution to securing my windows. So nice to have them open just a bit for circulation, but having a piece of mind that nobody can slide them open from outside. The bar is of good quality and is very easy to install. Wish they would have another version that is 1.5 times the size for bigger windows. Great product. Beats putting the little 'clips' on the window slide that always seem to move when a tiny bit of force is applied. This bar will not move, not matter how much force is applied.

This is my first review forever. I am an Amazon prime customer and bought many things without shipping I need over the years, only return things we can’t use or not satisfied. I paid $15 for shipping when I placed this order and it had four items in one box, although I only need one when I placed the order because the video is showing they are useful and I thought I can use the rest three in the future. The adhesive came with 9 in a sheet, the instructions said to put three on each, which is short of 3, also the adhesive is not working well and I had to put one extra and thought to make it sturdy, after days on the window, it kept moving and I really don’t like it, I decided to return it and I had to pay $8 ish for shipping again, this is insane but I am still returning the order. I will never buy anything from this company again.
