Perfect replacement for a failed bilge pump.
Perfect replacement for an older Atwood 500 gph pump. The pump base was different from the older model and removal from the bilge was not easy as space there beside the battery was cramped. Pump works fine though once we got it installed.

Well this is number 2. 1st one melted and was wired correctly. 2nd one seems to be good so far.

Absolutely garbage
Products are cheap crap. I’m on my third Atwood bilge pump and it lasted 6 months and boat was on land for four months under cover. Filled out their warranty claim form online and have never heard back from anyone. Do yourself a favor, buy a rule bilge pump.

Both manual and automatic
You should install this pump with a single pole double throw switch that is off in the middle that way you can leave it in the auto position to pump when you're away or you can switch it to the manual mode and pump out the bilge when you want all the water gone. In the auto mode the float switch will leave a small amount of water in the bilge. It comes with a 90° as well as a straight fitting to attach to a hose. That made it easy for me to position it under the engine. I would recommend this to a friend.

Kept tripping the fuse as it clearly struggled to maintain full speed
Failed 6 days into 9 day fishing trip. Had to replace the pump with bilge filled with water at dock and wasted half a days fishing - if that does not change your mind nothing will.

Unreliable Safety Equipment
The item was in the boat for a couple of weeks and last time I tested it would not start unless I spun the impeller by hand first. Tested on a 100Ah AGM as well as a 230 LifePo4. Same result. Bilge was full of rain water. Even though I purchased 21 Dec 24 and installed in late Jan 25 I can not return the item.

Make sure you have enough head room for this pump
I replaced an Atwood V500 with this bilge pump. The new pump was taller.
