My doctor prescribed this, but I'm not sure if it actually works. You're supposed to take it for a while for it to be effective, but I haven't noticed a big difference in the three weeks I've been taking it.

I have a small elderly dog with dealing with heart failure, and my vet recommended giving this to him to help with mineral imbalance from all of the heart meds and diuretics that he's taking. He takes one a day. After 6 weeks of this + a diet change, his bloodwork was significantly improved.One thing that I like about the tablet is that it can easily be crushed. Most of the time my dog will swallow it with a treat, but on days where I have to coax him to eat it can just be crushed and added to a meal.

Reading the label on the Standard Process vitamins you would never know how great they are. I really like the Standard Process brand. My physician recommended I take some of their products and I picked these up as well. No noticeable difference in my day-to-day life, but I do believe them good for you. Particularly helpful if you are on any ketogenic, paleo type diets as greens are not consumed in very high quantities ((compared to the more vegan ends of the spectrum)).This product is alfalfa.
