Great idea, but the execution fails
Because of an accident, I need to use a wheelchair.I needed a way to keep my door open and then be able to close it, while leaving or enter in my wheelchair.I thought this product would be perfect, unfortunately, it didn't work. When the telescopic handle is fully extended and the foot block is in place, the handle just faĺls to the floor, it doesn't stay against the door. Which is impossible for me to retrieve.I was so excited, I ordered two and neither one of them work. Two things. The telescopic handle needs to be stronger and the screw that allows the the "foot" to fold down, needs to lock into place. Now I understand why other similar products are made out of wood, the "foot"is a little longer.

Not sturdy enough
I think this is a great idea & I love that it extends out, especially for those of us that have mobility issues. However the rubber door stop isn’t strong enough to hold open the doors in my apartment building, the rubber just collapsed under the weight of the door, if there was something solid under the rubber like a little chunk of wood or something I would have given this 5 stars, unfortunately it doesn’t have that & it fails to keep the door open

Doesn't telescope
It was very difficult to extend just the first section and then when I tried for another section it broke apart. I was able to put it back together just so the door stop would at least have a 12" handle on it which since I am in a wheelchair can reach. Then the door stop itself was not high enough to stop the door, I had to add a 5/8" piece of plywood to the top of the door stop so it would work, which it now does, just with the shortened handle. Glad I only paid $10 for it but at least I had the right tools and supplies to get it to work, just would have been nice not to have to lean over to use it.

A little too lightweight
This is a great idea in theory. My dad is using a 4 wheel walker to get around now and the fire door from his garage is posing a safety hazard as he attempts to hold it open and thrust his walker through the entrance. I wanted a door stopper with a handle so he didn't have to bend down to place it under the door. This could be so improved upon by making the design tolerate a heavier door and for the extendable handle to extend a little further. He still had to bend over to get this under the door and it was not sturdy enough to handle a heavy fire door. It just kept closing in with the door. I imagine it would work well for a hollow core door, but honestly, what's the point of that? Hollow core doors essentially stay open by themselves. Good idea, just not actually functional.

Great idea...poorly executed!
Found this for my 90+ year old father who needed something that didn’t require him to bend down to retrieve. Arrived today in two parts, but when I was eventually able to join the handle to the base it would not telescope only separated pulling apart. Very disappointing!!
