LotFancy T400 Headset Headphones Ear Phone for A100, S10, S11, S12, S50, T10, T20, T50, T100, T110 Telephone

I am a sales rep who uses the phone all day, and I work out of my house. My cat chewed through the headset cable that is original to the Plantronics S12 device, and a replacement headset was around $60. That is too much, when there are other headsets (like this one) that claim to work with Plantronics S12. The product name says "Plantronics [...] S12" even though it's not the original one for it, so I gave it a try.It sounds great. I can't tell a difference in sound quality between this one and the original S12's headset. As with any new headset, I made a test call to a co-worker and they said "you're really loud", so I adjusted the S12 base unit's microphone volume, and then they said it was fine. Of the six settings on the left side of the S12 base unit, I kept it set to 1. The other 5 settings I think made loud screeching noises in my ear, but I'm pretty sure the original headset did the exact same thing. I'm not sure what that setting is, but it's not for volume.I made a second test call. After a conversation with the caller (a co-worker), I said "I'm using a new headset, how does it sound?" He said he couldn't tell I was on a headset, "sounds great" and "better than most".

I've been researching a cheap headset to buy with my own money to work with my office phone. I settled on this one for my Samsung iDCS 18D. There are instructions on how to make it work with a headset:"Keyset users can switch between headset mode and handset mode. When using headset mode, press the ANS/RLS key to answer and release calls. With the handset on-hook, press TRANSFER and then dial 110. Dial 021 to use the headset or 020 to use the handset. Press TRANSFER to store your selection."No additional amplifier or equipment is needed.The mic seems to be good. I've asked a few colleagues and had a few phone conversations and had no complaints. The sound quality of the ear speaker is not great, however. It sounds a little like the other person is underwater. For that reason, and the cheap build of the headset (the cord where it enters the ear speaker had slipped down revealing smaller wires), I give this 3 stars. It's only $11, so it's worth trying.

I manage a law office and spend a lot of time on the phone. This headset is comfortable to wear and the sound is very clear. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it does tend to be a bit loud, even on the lowest volume setting. The problem is easily solved by keeping the microphone a bit farther away from your mouth than seems normal. The microphone is very flexible so this is easy to do. The microphone is in fact so sensitive that sometimes I have picked up the regular phone handset and forgotten to switch the headset off yet the person on the other end still hears me fine with the headset lying on the desk (of course I can't hear them!). I definitely recommend this headset.

Excellent mic and headset. I had people telling me there was an echo, so I thought there was an issue with the headset. Turns out my Polycom IP phone has an echo cancellation setting that was not on. That fixed it. After fixing it, I told a few clients I had a new headset and asked how it sounded. They all said it was very clear and they had no rouble hearing me. That is big, because I work mostly with Seniors and hearing loss is common as you get older.I would definitely recommend this headset. I am on the phone several hours a day and these are very comfortable. I have a bald head and other headsets have started hurting after a while. These are firm enough to stay in place, but comfortable enough to wear all day with no issues!

I read reviews on this and similar items, and this one easily scored the highest; the others all had complaints, even including the simple, overpriced plug converters. Now I know why this one gets good ratings. I'm using it on a Nortel IP phone at work that has a separate socket for a headset. This device has an active amplifier circuit for the microphone, powered through the socket so that it needs no batteries. People on the other end say I'm crystal clear when I'm whispering. The Nortel standard handset gets the opposite comments: "Can you speak louder? I can barely hear you." The receiver is excellent as well: everything sounds clear and natural on my end. I was hoping for something hands-free that would perform as well as the stock handset. What I got performs 10 times better. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

Original Thoughts: I really like this product. I use it instead of the regular handset on my phone. I just plugged this in instead, and then set the receiver to the side when I make a call. I'm sure it would work great with an IP phone too. It makes it easier for me to use the computer to take an order, and talk at the same time.After a few weeks of use: The product broke after about 3 weeks of light use. I was pretty disapointed, but the seller was willing to work with me on a replacement. Another alternative option would be a cable to go from RJ11 to headphones/microphone.

Fixed audio problem with my old Plantronics headset, at a fraction of the price of others. Very comfortable and actually better adjust-ability of mic than the Plantronics. Would give 5 stars except for the fact that the coiled connector is quite a bit shorter than the Plantronics so I have to place the base unit much closer to me at my desk.

Correction to my previous rating. LotFancy has stepped up and refunded me on the device I had received, and its possible that in error, it made it past their quality inspection before it was shipped. Although it stopped working after one week, and horrible fit to the head, they clearly are willing to make this right and refunded me in full without asking. Thank you LotFancy for showing integrity and resolving this issue so fast. Says a great deal about your company.
