Works well for soft feet
Works great for soft soles. Very sticky so either use gloves or you can use fly spray to remove it from your hands. (Yes, that works).

Remains a must in my tack box
This stuff has been a standby of mine for years. After a cross-country course, on a long distance road trip protecting those feet are really important to me. The stuff has been fantastic for decades for me :-)

Recommended by my farrier
Have an older OTTB who is shod and rarely has problems with his feet. He was foot sore after a long trail ride during very dry weather. The ground was hard. No sign of abscess or other problem. I couldn't figure it out. Farrier recommended this stuff for about 10 days. It is messy to put on but not bad with rubber gloves. Have them step on dust or sawdust after it is packed in well. Stayed in his hooves decently. I did not have to repack him everyday. I was skeptical but it worked!! I would buy it and use again should the occasion arise .

Good stuff
Seems to be working well. As I had it outside the stall, people stopped to say how good they thought this is. I’d advise using a glove, as it is sticky.

Mixed results
The horse I have been riding for the past 5 years has always had very sensitive soles, especially after a trim. I've noticed over the past year he has become even more sensitive when riding on the trail. There are lots of small rocks and avoiding them is almost impossible. So after many painful rides with him tip toeing through the trail I decided to try Magic Cushion. I used it for the first time a couple weeks ago, applied it exactly as instructions said to. I let it dry for one hour before I saddled up and went for a ride. It seemed to work very well as he rode like nothing bothered him. Great! Well I did it again the other day and after about 10 minutes into my ride I saw the stuff fly right out of his front hooves, as soon as we got to the more rocky part of the trail my poor guy started stumbling over every single tiny stone. So this stuff works good if you can get it to stay in for the duration of the ride. I might have packed too much in, which is why it came out - maybe less works better and will stay in longer. I'm going to experiment and try some other things as well. I wish the magic cushion would stay in better. I've seen people use duct tape to seal it in, but not sure you can do that if you plan on riding. Maybe I need to get some boots.

Great product.
Great product. Easy to use (messy but easy), stays put and heals quickly. I used it to get my horse past a hot nail. I have friends who use it at shows as a preventative when ground is tough.

So relieved...my horse is back!
My barefoot 17h friesian had been off for almost a week due to extremely heavy rains, rode him one day, arena and on trails. Next day he was lame on his front right; unwilling to put weight on it. He had needed a bit more 'aggressive' trimming on his front hoofs right before this, so bruising/sore soles (soles not trimmed though) was a very reasonable explanation... but you never know. He preferred to stand in more or less one spot for two days, even when the other horses moved away. Like a knife in my heart. Got this, put it on, and now, three hours later, he's out there doing his normal acrobatics in the pasture and in the arena (to which they have access to)!!! He's certainly some time away from being back to normal, I'm sure, but extremely good diagnostic clue! :) I'll sleep better tonight. Very happy with this product. Will start keeping it at hand for these situations. He can be put back to work, groundwork in the arena. Highly recommended.

Really is Magic!
It really is magic. I always have it on hand at home and horse shows.

Poor quality
Very poor quality. Had a massive lump of crystallised product in the centre and lots of fragments. If I had put this under a pad on a thin soled horse it would have caused serious lameness. A big welfare issue selling this great product in such a poor state! Not impressed, ill buy elsewhere from now on
