Between chasing after the kids and trying to keep everyone protected from the sun, this little set is a total game-changer. I love how simple it is to use—the roll-on applicator means no more sticky hands or sunscreen mess everywhere. I just roll it on, and we’re good to go. The bottles fit perfectly in the bag, and the carabiner clip means I can attach it right to the stroller or diaper bag, so it’s always easy to grab. I can’t recommend this product enough! My first solar buddy bit the dust over the winter (which was my bad, I failed to wash the sponge before tucking it away for the winter). But, I loved this product so much the first time around, I decided to order another. The added clip clips nicely on to my stroller so it’s never out of reach on our many trips to the pool. The solar buddy works by loading your preferred sun cream into the base and then rolls on and rubs in by the sponge. My kids all prefer sunscreen being applied this way as opposed to the spray stuff. It’s also great for my little guy who hates wearing hats- it’s rubs is easily to his scalp to keep the burns away. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick way to add ease to sunscreen application for littles!

This works great. We don't like to use spray sunscreen on our faces. This lets us carry sunscreen without spilling it, and gives us an easy way to apply it without getting it all over your hands. The ball rolls well until the sunscreen starts to get low, still rolls just not as well.

Love the container, easy to fill and my son can apply sunscreen himself. I bought this specific package because of the extra clip/carabiner. Unfortunately, as soon as I tried to attach this to my son’s soccer bag the carabiner broke. So the applicator is a great but the clip/carabiner is a waste of money!

This is why I wait to make reviews. I thought this was THE BEST invention for having small kids. Sadly if you use any sunscreen that’s even remotely thick it clogs up. I washed it and decided to just use it for runnier sunscreen. The foam still came off by the end of the summer.

I absolutely love this!! I thought about getting it a year ago when my son just turned two but I just let putting off getting it. I wish I had just bought it. It’s so easy to use and NO MESS!!!! My three year old loves it so much he wants to put it on by himself. I was worried about it missing spots or going on unevenly but that is not the case at all. We have been using it for a few weeks now almost every day and I can say this is a great quality product!!

This is our second solar buddies. The first we had for over a year and worked well enough to buy a second. The sponge on the newest one fell off within a few weeks of purchase (but of course outside the return window) and is now unusable. I tried gluing it and it won’t stay - just keeps coming off. Waste of $30.

This thing saved us during our visit to Universal Epic Universe! It is perfect for touch ups/reapplying throughout the day. For adults for first application, I still recommend using a spray or your hands to apply since this guy is so small. But it's perfect for when you're standing in lines or the bathroom to quickly get on your face, shoulders, and under straps. The carabiner did break pretty quickly, but I still recommend the bundle to get the grippy holder for the solar buddy and then replace the carabiner with a better one

Love love love this product. Easy to apply. I use for everyone in the family as it spreads the sunscreen evenly. You can use any brand of sunscreen you choose. This is my 3rd summer using.
