Works great and so convenient when you use this for vertical builds! No longer have to awkwardly find and press the record button.

Having a soft plastic/rubber handle can help in cold weather to have a good grip but the quality of the handle is not the best. Also the tactile feel of the shutter button is terrible, perhaps the button should be bigger or the mechanical calibration of the sensitivity (spring) should be improved. Considering the cost you can't fault the product but it's not one of the best choices I've made. For setups used as a "plan B" it can be ok, otherwise choose a better model such as the wooden one or other products.

A very good product I will have to buy another one and put it on the other side of the camera.

While filming a football game, the idea of a trigger start and stop is awesome. However, this product terrible. I’ve been forced to miss multiple big plays because the button wouldn’t work on the initial press or it would just automatically randomly turn off. Even when paying close attention, I would have to wrap and fire record button because it continually shut off. Do not buy this product if you can’t afford to miss a shot.

Great product

I like to keep the side grip on the left side of my camera and I use the camera grip on the right for a minimalist setup especially when travelling. (Gets clunky with two handles). This works great if you use it on the right side of your camera because the usb c trigger does not get in the way on the bottom of the grip. However, when you swap sides because the usb c trigger port is on a fixed side it gets in the way of the grip making it a little uncomfortable. Had they simply added a port on both sides would've have solved the issue.

Funziona perfettamente con a7iv. Bellissima la costruzione e comoda l'impugnatura, almeno per la mia mano. Il pulsante di rec (utilizzabile solo se collegate il cavo) è una chicca comodissima.

I love SmallRig products, I use their great constantly to build my video rigs. I wanted to get this handle to upgrade my left side external handle for a run and gun rig. Attaches via the rail on the side of my cage and record button works as expected. My only gripe and hence the low scores is the post where the recording cable attaches to the camera is on the left side of the handle. This means a cable sticks out at your palm height and really is noticeable. It’s a shame SmallRig didn’t relocate the cable to the bottom of the handle so it wouldn’t get in the way of you left or right hand mount it.

J'attendais depuis un bout de temps cet article. Très confortable, fonctionne très bien. Je l'utilise avec un Canon R5 et un Canon R10. Pour l'utiliser avec le Canon R10, vous n'avez qu'à utiliser le câble pour Fujifilm/Panasonic, qui est inclus dans la boîte. Un peu dispendieux, la raison pour 4 étoiles.
