Davidson's Tea Bulk, Green Tea Garden, 16 Ounce

I really like the flavor and aroma of this Garden Green Tea.It does not have that "greenish" smell of real green tea.I'm not a fan of "pure" green tea; therefore, if I can get the BENEFITS of Green Tea and not "smell" it - I'm Happy.It's a really good quality tea and, by tasting other teas from the same company, I know that I can truly trust Davidson's company!Plus, the tea is ORGANIC!

My favorite green tea is gunpowder, and so far, my favorite gunpowder tea is Davidson's. Their teas (I love their hibiscus tea, too) are very fresh, and you can feel good about the fact that they are organically grown. This gunpowder green tea has a slight sweetness to it that I don't taste in other gunpowder teas - a sign of being grown well and being very fresh.Bought in smaller packages, gunpowder tea can get pretty expensive, but in these large bags, Davidson's offers a great price. Yes, it's a lot of tea, so if you aren't going to drink it regularly, research the best way to store some of it. You won't be sorry you bought this brand!

The first thing I noticed is the tea is lovely, very pleasing to look at. The flavor of the tea is fantastic, very strong and only takes approximately two minutes to have excellent flavor. I was able to re-use the same tea in the infuser for three cups of coffee (about 2 teaspoons), the third cup was weaker of course, but still strong enough to be a satisfactory cup of tea. It is rather spicy, so if you dislike strong spice I would suggest getting a different flavor, though I enjoy it, particularly the cinnamon. At the very least I would recommend this brand. The bag is significantly larger than I expected, and given how long it will last me well worth the money, I've never had tea this good, completely satisfied.

I ordered this blend by mistake. I thought it just organic green tea only; not a blend. I wish the blend name was in front of green tea. The flavor was bitter for us…we added lemon and it was better. However, we both had swollen and sensitive tongue/gums and teeth which never experienced to this extreme on all of our gums/tongues/teeth. After reviewing other’s reviews of many stating dust…I believe that is the reason since we both have allergies to dust. I tried the tea (cold brew) several times (different times) to make its from the tea and I got similar experience but less sensitive teeth, more dry mouth, chapped lips, dehydrated and still swollen tongue. I tried to return but stated unable to return; which is not right. Im not saying everyone is going to have this experience…we are just allergic/sensitive to dust and other stuff. I’m going call Amazon the next couple of days and get my money back. Poor quality.

I’ve tried many green teas over the years, but Davidson’s Bulk Green Tea stands out as my favorite. The quality is exceptional—fresh, smooth, and never bitter, even when steeped for a while. Don't even want to know what "natural flavor" is in this; be sure to read the fine print. Wouldn't buy anything from this brand also as its sourced in China. Couldn't return either as it is a food item. Absolute waste of $15.

Moment I opened the box, dannng what a big bag! Moment I opened the bag, danngggg smells so good! Moment I looked in the bag, dannnggg that’s some pretty mix of tea! This tea actually reminds me of a high end quality of sleepy time tea. This is a great evening or Sunday lounging around tea. I ordered also the black tea with rose and Moroccan green tea with spearmint as well. But this one is the favorite :)

I like this blend.Brewed:The chamomile and hibiscus dominate the smell and flavor, and there is light cinnamon smell (and flavor) to it as well.The sencha (green tea) takes a backseat to the other flavors here, which is exactly what I was looking for.For my tastes, I don't add any sweetener because it seems semi-sweet by itself.At around $9-10 a pound, I think this was a great value.The packaging I received:It comes in a large resealable bag - ziplock style. You tear off the top of the sealed bag to open it initially.The outside is brown paper as shown on Amazon's product images.The inside is lined with a silver, reflective material that is itself lined with a clear plastic coating. The tea-blend is in contact with the plastic lining.I assume the silver-colored lining is an attempt to reflect infrared/heat. Who knows...I ordered other Davidson's tea in the past, and the older packaging didn't have the silver-colored material.The description on the product page "Contains ... exotic berry flavors" is misleading. I don't detect any "berry" flavor in this nor do the ingredients suggest any berry-ness (other than mysterious "Natural Flavors" ingredient).For teas in general: to get an idea of how it'll taste, you should always check the list of ingredients rather than the marketing description.
