Excellent Powerhead. Quiet and stays in place.
I've had several powerheads. This is probably the best I've found for the price. It has a magnetic piece that attaches from the outside of the tank and an interior mount with suction cups. The exterior magnetic mount is what keeps it reliably in place. Sound is damn near silent. Very solid construction. I was happy enough to order a second. Regarding how 1050GPH and the 2100GPH I have both in my 65 Gallon Reef which is about 36" wide. The 2100GPH moves water nicely for high current. I would get the 2100GPH for tanks 65 gallons and over, or the 1050GPH if your into low current. I bought both and alternate.

Impressive
Bought two for my 90 gallon reef tank. They move a lot of water. Usually only run one. Two seems to be too much for some of my coral.

Overall great except not adjustable.
I bought 2 of these in the 2100 GPH size. Put 1 in the top and 1 on the opposite side towards the bottom of my 125 gallon tank. Turned them on and adjusted them. After a couple minutes of readjusting the one on the bottom i finally turned it off completely. It's way too powerful for a 6 foot 125 gallon aquarium. It was blowing my African Cichlids all over the place and they were all struggling to swim back to the right side of my aquarium. They were all blown to the left side under the one i stuck near the top and was mostly staying there. The few others that did tempt to swim to the right were struggling and kept being blown back to the left.It also blew large amounts of sand away from my right side as well as plants and 2 peices of drift wood. It's just simply way too powerful. I only wanted a gentle current to keep small debris airborn, err... waterborne so my filter could eventually pick it up rather than everything resting and staying on the bottom. The one at the top on my left side honestly is kinda too powerful too. I have it about 10 to 12 inches under water pointed up and towards the back wall of the aquarium so the back wall takes the blunt of the force. I wanted it to aggitate the top of the water and help create that circular current i was going for. It is working well but any fish that goes near it in front of it gets blown away rather quickly.Simply put I'ma replace for one i can adjust the amount of output down because these both are way too strong for a 125 gallon aquarium in my opinion. Your fish could not possibly be happy fighting non stop against the pressure these put out. I would recommend something more at about a 1,000 gallon maximum output that you can adjust lower for aquariums about 6 to 8 feet in length unless you're trying to create one heck of a current to make your fish struggle to stay in 1 spot.I also have 2 water turtles in my tank and.... my poor turtles... lol

Love the pump, hate the hum
Bought the 2100gph model. While the pump isn't particularly loud, it's definitely louder than some other pumps at this pricepoint. Really just a hum that is notable, but for someone less sensitive to noise may not be an issue. However, I will say that this pump provides exceptional gyre flow if aimed correctly. In my 125 it was a bit of fiddling, but the flow it provides is great for keeping stuff from settling in your reef tank.

Super strong current...in empty tank.
I almost got the less powerful version of this because the reviews that got the stronger version looked insane. I have a six foot tank though so I decided to just go with the 2100 gph version. While it is strong the flow just barely reaches the end of the tank. What the other reviews don't consider is having a lot of hard scape that reduces flow. I have a bunch of manzanita and rock work end to end so the power head doesn't have super current.Overall it's super quiet, easy to place, and gave my tank much needed flow. There was scum on top because of how poor the flow was. First day it was already kicking up all the debris the canister couldn't get. 10/10.

Simple
I like a simple powerhead off on good magnet good power nice angles .. I feel like it will hold up a long time. Cord is long enough for most setups ... Power heads really aren't something that needs to be overly complicated I'll take reliability and simplicity every day over adjustable 24v heads ... Truly never had any 24v last over 5 years most 3 years or less at any price range ... Little less power then I expect but hopefully this translates to longer life
