Sturdier than the regular paper bowls. Used them at Lenten luncheon at church. Worked fine.

I bought these bowls specifically to feed my cats inside and outside. Their shallow design and the the fact that they can be composted is what attracted me. They worked perfectly. They hold up even when serving wet cat food. I also used them to serve ice cream and fruit with no problem. Absolutely did not leak but when discarded in my compost heap disintegrated easily within days. Now I can avoid endless washing of pet food dishes without feeling guilty about adding to the trash problem. Well worth the additional cost. One note though dishes with meat based pet food cannot be put in traditional compost heap. These dishes go in a separate area in my yard but the advantage is the same since lowering my trash out put is the goal

However they are flimsy. We made a large raman bar and the bowls were not completely up to task.Great for holding various dry items.

I Love these bowls from this particular company. They are sturdy, microwaveable and most importantly they are biodegradable with mother nature. I use them mostly for cat food bowls and they are wonderful compared to the paper/styro foam bowls I purchased at the dollar store. Found these to be not that much more expensive but the biodegradable aspect is worth it, especially in this already polluted world of ours. It's just one more thing I can do to help our ecology.

This product is great for cold foods.. do not use for hot items i.e. soups, veggies etc.

Exactly what we need. We use these daily for ice cream, snacks, etc. Not quite leakproof, absorbs liquids over time. Otherwise, these are sturdy, not as easily tipped as others I've tried and we are quite satisfied with them. They do the job we need them to do.

The ones I received are more flimsy than the Dixie bowls. The rim is like thin paper! Would have to double-bowl for any hearty food. fine for snacks or salad.
