Great old-fashioned popcorn taste
This popcorn brought back fond memories of when I was a child and my grandparents owned a movie theater in Utah. The popcorn had such a great flavor. It was very reminiscent of what popcorn used to be like before all the GMO infiltration of popcorn. The kernels were light and fluffy, and the Hulls just disappeared. Not one hull got stuck in my teeth. If you want some good old fashioned great flavored popcorn this is the one to go with.It pops up great and if you wanted to taste like you're out of movie theater pop it in some coconut oil and sprinkle with just a little teeny bit of salt and you'll have a delicious treat.

My new favourite!
I absolutely LOVE this popcorn! It’s so tenderly, deliciously crunchy and free of Roundup and most all other toxic chemicals. I prefer this new brand over almost all others. Also it’s a true heirloom strain and healthier to digest due to the absence of pesky hulls. On the contrary, hybridized corn even when grown organically sacrifices flavor and nutrition for high yield. I’m so happy to have tried this today! The packaging design is beautiful too so I’m happy to leave the bag out atop the stove. This company is dedicated to quality. I prefer to purchase on their website for better savings. Also after inquiring how long the shelf life is for their popping corn, I received this reply:“Thank you for your question. Popcorn will last for years as long as there is moisture in the seed. We recommend storing it in a cool place like a cupboard or the refrigerator. We don't recommend a freezer as most are now frost free and that will draw the moisture out of the seed.We hope this helps.Happy Holidays,Tiny But Mighty Team”Lastly, here is their response to an Amazon question regarding organics for further information:Q: Is this popcorn organically raised?A: “Hi all. Just found this comment string and we are the grower/producer of the product. Tons of places on Amazon where reviews, comments, questions are posted and we're just a small company with less than 4 employees -- took awhile to realize where these questions were posted. Our popcorn is not USDA certified organic. We use a special organic fertilizer that includes trace minerals -- we developed the fertilizer specifically for our heirloom variety which is completely different (and grows differently) than all other varieties of corn being grown today. We do not use any pesticides at all. The one aspect that currently prevents organic certification is the use of non-residual herbicide during the first 20% of the growing season. Our popcorn grows very very slowly and the weeds/grasses are a huge hurdle for us. The herbicide never enters the plant (not residual) and only targets the other grasses/weeds on contact. Nothing enters our popcorn plant and to be even more sure, it's only applied months before any ears (and kernels) think about developing. Some people tell us to "just do it organically" -- but unfortunately the yield of this popcorn (less than 2,000 lbs per acre) makes it impossible and unaffordable to do so. It would probably yield less than 1,000 lbs per acre if we didn't fight the weeds/grasses with herbicide. In comparison, most of the conventional popcorn varieties are growing between 5,000 and up to 10,000 lbs per acre. We're already on the edge of being able to produce the product remotely affordably. Our first goal is to preserve and expand this heirloom variety and down the road we will see if expanding into organic is possible.Hope you enjoy!!”

Tiny but....tiny.
I really really wanted to like this stuff. My bf is from Iowa so we were ready to love it. We heard about it during some little special on tv about heirloom popcorn. I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, if I could, I'd give it a 3.5. A big part of that is I like what the company stands for, and how they operate. But the popcorn itself just didn't do anything for me. You could guess from the name, but it's smaller than average (even for white popcorn) which I didn't care for. It felt too much like I was eating popcorn crumbs or something. They flavor was decent, but nothing special that you can't get anywhere else. We bought this back when we used to make popcorn on the stove. I've heard from many people that due to it's small size, this stuff doesn't work well in an air popper (which is what we have now) so we haven't tried it in that yet.Really it all comes back to the size of the corn once popped. It was just too small for me, and I found it hard to enjoy because of that.

The best
Delicious popcorn with small kernels and almost universal popping. Wonderful treat.

Very good. You have to use Hot temperature oil
Very good. You have to use Hot temperature oil though. They pop up compact size so don't be surprised. It is satisfying so you don't need the bulk of larger popped corn. It seems a lot of money, but I grew up on good popcorn so I just keep buying it. Oooooo Try some of that Irish or English real butter on it, too. Eat extra for me while you watch your next movie.

Delicious popcorn if you don't mind a bit of a mess or using oil!
I have a colostomy and bought low hull popcorn off recommendations from my GI doctor. This got the best reviews and didn't come in a 2 lb bag, so I decided to try it out. The first time I tried pooping it in our Cuisinart Hot Air Popcorn Maker. I wore oven mitts (it gets HOT) and tipped back the maker as I read from other reviews. It took forever to begin popping and beforehand kernels flew out EVERYWHERE, even with it tilted back, but once it popped it did so beautifully and completely. The second time I tried in a large, deep cast iron skillet with a lid, which was much more successful mess wise, but required 2 TBS of oil! I'm trying to drop some lbs and that just seemed like a lot of oil (I used canola). Both produced popcorn with very little and brittle hulls! Nothing obstructed my stoma and I didn't even have to use a toothpick to get out the hulls from my gums and teeth afterwards!Overall, if you use an air popper I'd pop it close to a sink to catch the tons of kernels that'll go flying before the popping begins. If you use a deep pot or pan be prepared for at least 2 TBS oil. I'd buy this again, but I think I might try to see what else is out there.
