Great for my mini figures, but leaves some residue
I have some figures that don't like to stand up and sticky tack seemed to be the best option to hold them up. It works great, however, it does leave a residue that I have not attempted to clean off yet.

Saves your walls
I jave tried glue dots, scotch tape, double sticky tape, and even duct tape to put pictures on the walls at church. It all ends up pulling paint off or wall paper off when you try to "unstick" the pictures. The tape even pulled the varnish off paneling. So I use this putty. It is cut in small squares but for smaller pictures it doesnt even take that much. It will not tear the wallpaper or pull paint off the walls. The greenish color doesn't even stain the walls. It works very well.

decent but posters sag
easy to use and hang stuff up with but after a while posters will start to sag down from their own weight. easy to readjust though, just annoying to have to keep doing it. I've had these posters up for about 3 weeks now but they're doing pretty well regardless.edit 9/28/24: I've had posters hung up with this stuff for several months now and I've moved them around and such and while its relatively easy to get this stuff off the wall and reuse it, it still holds true that posters start to sag after a while. especially posters with creases from being folded. they start to give in at the creases and you'll have to readjust the posters time and time again. still so much better than tacks in the wall and through the posters but if you're someone with an entire wall of posters (like me), it gets increasingly annoying noticing that they've begun to sag again and that you have to fix them. granted, I haven't had any fall yet (excusing the time I was sleeping with a fan pointed at the wall every night for a few weeks, the air pushing behind and making some corners lift up off the wall) so I do still think this product is well worth the purchase considering the price and amount you get, I just want any buyers to be informed of what exactly this purchase entas. I have had more success with wiping down my walls with rubbing alcohol prior to hanging things up, though! it takes longer for them to start sagging that way.

Impressive, long term hold
Do you see the “K” on the wall in this photo? It’s been 1/2 held up by 1 little square of this product for 6 weeks now. Background, if interested: I was re-arranging my wall hanging. I only had 1 nail hole already in the wall behind this “K” (the “K” has 2 holes in the back for hanging on nails). I wanted to step back and see what it would look with the letter positioned there, without putting another hole in my wall to do so. So, I slid one side of the “K” safely over the pre-existing nail, and stuck the other side up with ONE square of this tack for (what I thought was) very short term holding. Since it held for the time I was working on the project, and seemed to be sturdy, I left it overnight… and every night for the past 6 weeks now. I guess we’ll just see how long it’ll hold it? Lol

They will let you down... along with whatever you're trying to hang
Trash, they don't stick, no matter what. Can't even hold up a simple poster. I followed the suggestions in the trouble shooting tips provided, still nothing. Tried adding a little water to make them more sticky, tried stretching them out to provide more surface space, tried cleaning the wall, etc. They simply just don't do anything other than leave a sticky residue on your wall and leave your posters/etc. falling to the ground along with your hopes and dreams.
