What is the horizontal distance from the wall to the end of the arms (e.g. how far does it stick out from the wall when mounted)?

Does it dull or scratch board edges? What about the steel rusting over time?

It does not hurt boards at all. Only soft plastic touches the boards. Our rack is holding wakeboards in our basement. There is no rust. It is still looking brand new. We love it.

Can you use this to store rigid paddleboards?

I don’t think so.... Is made for snowboards, kiteboards skate boards
