Ladybug Playground

I bought this for my daughter who is infatuated with ladybugs after studying them in school. It was kind of hard to tell from the picture, but I was pretty sure that the product dimensions in the description referred to the packaging - not the actual product - and I was right. Be aware that this habitat is very small and will hold only a few ladybugs. There's also no good place to put water or food for them so we had to use cotton balls soaked with water and made a bowl out of tin foil for honey. The good news is my daughter did like it (which is why I gave it 4 stars) but if it were up to me it would have gotten fewer.

I brought this for my five year old daughter. We brought three hundred live ladybugs for a garden and put a couple in the playground for my little girl to play with for a day. It fitt the purpose of what it was designed for. The built seem good for the cost. All is good. I think she can put other little instects in it to observe. All in all it was a good product.

Great product for kids that like to explore the outdoors and get a birds eye close up view of a lady bug/caterpillar. This was originally given as a gift to us. My child and her preschool class enjoyed it so much that I bought one for the class to enjoy. They all make a team effort to find a critter during recess and then they are able to enjoy it together. Great learning experience.

This is a great little bug habitat. My two kids have loved it since they opened it. They immediately ran outside and caught an ant. They then spent fifteen minutes mesmerized by the ants behavior in the bug catcher...exclaiming with glee anytime he climbed on the mushroom or the vine. This is small, but is perfect for little hands (my kids are 7 and 4). I highly recommend this purchase if you have avid insect collectors or watchers! They love collecting bugs and watching them in the habitat, then setting them free to collect another type.

It's a little hard for four year old fingers to open, and would be nice if there were a drop hole from the top rather than the whole dome opening, but other than that it's really cute and fun.

The lady bugs don't really 'play', but it is fun to watch my 6 yr old daughter examine it every day and night to see if anything is 'happening'. She is learning that not everything on this planet has to be running or moving around. So far after 3 weeks she is still interested in this toy.

I have purchased several bug parks. This one came, to my surprise, much smaller than the others I've purchased. It fits in the palm of your hand. I think it is priced slightly high, considering the size of the item. My kids will love it, regardless. It is super cute and they will spend hours filling it with bugs!

This is an AMAZING product!!!!!! My 5 year old can not take her hands off this. She even tries to sleep with it too! This is very unique and perfect for her small hands to manage. She loves to feed the bugs. We use a small water droplet tool and insert leaves to make it a perfect home for the insects/bugs. We will be buying more of these too! Go check it out! I had a child asking santa for a ladybug holder. This is all I could find. By the time I paid shipping etc, it was over $20, for 30 cents worth of plastic. However, I did have a happy kid on Christmas morning.
