Best Kukri I’ve personally handled
I was delightfully surprised by the overall quality and craftsmanship of this blade. It is very sturdy, well balanced, and frankly beautiful. It came fully sharpened and lubricated and is ready to use right out of the box. Genuine leather sheath that fits the blade perfectly with a smaller knife as well as a sharpening tool included. It has a true full tang hand forged carbon steel blade and lovely rosewood handle with 3 rivets and a hole for a lanyard if you want to add one. The handle fits my hand perfectly (not too big, not too small). The pommel is an extension of the full tang blade rather than an additional welded on piece of metal and is brilliantly balanced with the overall construction making the feel directed to an impressive natural feeling chop and thrust. It’s fully capable of chopping wood as well as if not better than any hatchet I’ve ever handled and it almost feels like it drives itself into the chop and thrust. It’s slightly longer than the traditional 10 inch mark 2 (WWII model) which is a feature that makes it both a powerful combat tool as well as a very utilitarian camping, hunting, and adventure machete.I don’t often give 10/10 reviews but this is certainly a 10/10, truly authentic Nepalese, handmade beast of a blade. For the money it’s a surprisingly great value and I can tell that with the proper maintenance it’s a lifetime type blade. I’d highly recommend getting this one if you’re in the market for a Kukri and can confidently say that you’ll likely be delightfully surprised with the purchase.

Great Purchase. Quality Blade
Great Quality knife especially for the price. I have been wanting a Kukri blade for a while. Sharp edge, cherrywood handle very nice and comfortable to hold. Extremely satisfied with the weight, quality, edge of blade. Good Purchase

Pretty decent and functional for the money.
This knife is nicely crafted and has a good heft to it. The scabbard was tight and difficult at first, but seems to be wearing in nicely. The grip is really nicely made and comfortable. The edge was simply ground and not finished. It can with a substantial burr, but I would give a demerit for that as you’re going to have to learn to maintain an edge, so why not start by putting an edge on it to begin with. The sharpening tool it came with is a disappointment as you would expect it to have been tempered to a higher hardness than the blade, but based on trying to remove the burr with it, the sharpener experienced just as much wear as the burr. Not great. Haven’t really looked at the utility knife that came in the scabbard along with the sharpening tool. I suppose it would do what a little utility knife needs to do with some attention to the edge. Overall, I’m happy with this tool and would recommend it.

This knife is awesome.
Item arrived 10 days early, package it was excellent. Blade was wrapped in plastic wrap over grease. Razor sharp out of the box. It’s heavy but exceptionally well balanced with a satisfying hand feel. I give this my highest recommendation.

Hefty
This thing is awesome, it is heavier than your WWII Ghurka kukriby almost a pound, however I bet I could chop down a tree with it.It shipped from Nepal and was delivered 5 days after I ordered it. Despite the estimated delivery being close to 3 weeks

Good Quality
Looks well made and good quality. Had to refine the edge but then very sharp. Easy to handle, good balance. Sturdy sheath and two small knives as well.
