Some bolts are already screwed in place.
I wish that when one needs to fold up the rower that the manufacture had used a pin, instead of a screw in bolt. It would make set up and tear down faster if you have that need as I do. This is the only complaint I have so far.If you're one of those who reads a manual first, be aware that many of the bolts are already inserted into the rowing machine parts. There was a small cardboard and plastic unit (in the shipping box) that held some of the long bolts and five bolt/washer combo's. Not enough to assemble all of the rower I had worried. So at first I thought this was going to be a bummer waiting for the Manufacture to ship any possible missing parts. BUT DON"T WORRY its all there!I had many years in the Gym with good gear. This rowing machine is very close to those in quality of welds and fabrication. The rollers and internal mechanisms seem very smooth and well oiled at this point. I put it together in well under an hour taking my time. My hope is that this unit will last two years until I am ready to update to something else.First workout was this morning and all went very well! No odd sounds or clicks in the machinery, just smooth operation that let me focus on adding a new workout regiment to my day. A nice surprise was that the seat was nicely padded but not too much for me. I wanted an "Air Rower" on a budget and this machine came through for me! Buy it.

Excellent Rower
A friend has had one for about two years. We have both use it. So that is 2x per day. Runs like a champ. Bought my own now. Looking forward to using it for a long time. It was packed well in a very study box. All the parts were there. Easy to assemble. Great price.

Great deal for the price
Heavy duty unit for the price. Instructions are vague and exploded parts diagram impossibly small

I was not expecting the quality I received
For the price that I paid I was not expecting the fit and finish to be as good as it it. The motion of the seat is smooth, it has a slight lateral wobble but it's barely noticeable. It has a really clean motion associated with drive motor, no grinding or rattle. It is a little on the loud side from the fans and the grip isn't the most comfortable that I have used.Thank God that the assembly is easy because the directions are terrible. You will also need your own tools as the ones that are provided are so cheap that they broke on me when I was using them. All in all, I'm really pleased with the purchase.

I was sent a rusty, possibly used item, parts do not match up with description
Several issues with this rowing machine.First off, the rust. There's rust all over the insides of the rails, and clear water marks on the outside coated edge. While taking the pieces out of the box, there was tufts of either dog or cat hair in the packaging. The fan itself had dust on the front edge of the blades like it's been used before. I suspect either the unit was previously used or they salvaged parts from a broken unit. The foot pieces in the assembly diagram show holes for two bolts to secure them to the frame. The foot pieces provided only have one, which means they turn and flop around on you and aren't at all secure. As for using the machine, I still put it all together and it seems to function okay. From moderate rates of pulling I was pulling the front end of the machine off of the floor, and the total length is pretty short for me at 6' 1" which I realize is taller than average, but still a consideration if you're close to that.

Worth the price
I love my rowing machine. It's not high tech with lots of bells and whistles, but it works well. The only con is the noise it makes since it's forced air, but I have my music on when rowing so it's not bad.

Ok so far
Couldn't wait to get this thing. I am a right below knee amputee so I can't jog or run. This is the next best thing for me. I am using every other day and it has been working great. The box was heavily damaged when I got it but luckily it didn't damage the product. I would recommend rowing for any amputee that doesn't have a running blade. Great workout when you combine stretches and leg exercises from rehab.

OK I Guess
I bought this product for general fitness. It came with damage to the part noted in the two photos.I don’t think that the odometer works.I also can’t seem to fold it as noted in the pictures on Amazon.Assembly with fairly easy, but instructions were poor.On the positive side, I like the amount of tension on the pull, which makes for a good workout.
