Thanks for your inquiry. The AC-9 is a seven-gauge cable designed for use with power-hungry components such as power amplifiers and large subwoofers. Switching from the AC-9 to an AC-14SE MKII on a tube amp which uses less than 200 watts should not have a negative impact on sound quality. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Q: Will this fit in a marantz 5005 int amp

If the Marantz has a standard IEC connection on the back for AC power, I cannot think of why it wouldn't work. Good power cord.

Q: I have a svs pb2000 subwoofer that uses a two prong power cable. would it be safe to use this pangea 3 prong cable?

I am using the Pangea 14SE cables with my SVS SB-13 which is also comes with a 2 prong cable and I have no issues.

Q: I have a Creative Labs sound card on my desktop computer would this power cord upgrade improve the electrical response?

As someone who used to own a Sound Blaster ZxR, please do yourself a favor and get a good entry level DAC instead of wasting money on power cables for your PC. I bought the Musical Fidelity V90 Dac as an upgrade and it was quite an upgrade indeed. You'll never go back to internal PC sounds cards after hearing a real dac through quality speakers.
