Freak Babylon: An Illustrated History of Teratology and Freakshows

Tema interessante e livro bem completo, mas fica muito a desejar quanto a execução, capa mole e papel offset com ilustrações em branco e preto com cara de fotocópia. Parece mais um livro didático do século passado ou uma apostila, um maior capricho na edição o deixaria melhor avaliado. Não sei se o recomendaria.

Since American Horror Story's best season was Freak Show (in my opinion), I was curious about this book. It did not disappoint. While not a high quality book, the writing was fairly good and the photos interesting. I felt a lot of sympathy for these folks. They didn't ask for these lives. They had to work with the cards they were dealt.

Good book, only downfall, photos in book look photocopied in. Some are harder then others to see. Everything else is gold in my opinion

Muchas imagen la calidad de la edición bastante buena y a un muy buen precio. Aunque no es muy extenso cuenta con información relevante.

その時代、見世物小屋に送り込まれた訳ありの方々の写真集。映画にもなったエレファントマンはじめ、奇形の方たちのオンパレード。笑顔の裏に想像を絶する時代背景があったのでしょうね。合掌！
