Q: Seriously? amazon is supporting scalpers now? wow!

According to SoHo Camera regarding the price of the Sonos Arc soundbar "The price is for the speaker alone. The price has went up significantly on the speaker due to a spike production costs overseas as well as a huge increase in freight. You'll notice other sellers on Amazon have also raised their price accordingly as all suppliers receiving new stock of these products are paying the new cost." I just purchased this item on Best Buy with the 4 year warranty ($150) for a total of $1129. There's a nine day delay but the delivery from SoHo Camera was two days faster.

Q: Is this price correct? $1199 for a sound bar that retails for $799? Talk about price gouging by this seller.

I researched and compared prices before my 1/10/22 purchase. Problem is I couldn't find this item any where. I assumed the inflated price was because of demand and increased shipping etc. EVERYTHING cost more now. I haven't received yet but am not expecting the base and surround sound speakers to be included. Sure hope I'm wrong. Any recent purchasers care to comment on this?

Arc on its own is a 5.0.2 speaker and can be bonded with a pair of Sonos Ones, or any set of S2 compatible speakers and Sub to create a 5.1 surround configuration.

Q: I have a playbar with 5.1 set up using 2 play 1’s as rear speakers. Will this function as 5.1 as well?

Arc on its own is a 5.0.2 soundbar, that delivers immersive, 3D sound with 2 upfiring speakers. When bonded with two surrounds and a Sub, you'll be able to have a 5.1 surround sound configuration.
