Q: Anybody experiencing problems with the speed varying?

Yes, album speed was over 35 rpm and I couldn't stand to listen to my favorite vinyl anymore -- not the chipmunks, but still quite annoying. I replaced the belt and also tried the speed adjustment screw underneath the unit. But after several attempts, the speed never got below 34 1/2. And more than once it even shot up to over 80 rpm! No proper adjustment was possible. Replaced it with an AT LP140-XP with quartz lock. Couldn't be more pleased. Speed is always spot on.

If you manually place the arm on the record when it reaches the end of the record the auto return will activate and the arm return to its resting place and shut off.
