Thi was part of a Christmas gift...my Grandson loved it...he and his Dad spent quality time together putting the different things together.....would diffinately buy this or other kits in the line again....an added benefit Thu got both away from phones and pads for a bit....

Reminds You Why You Spend More for Lego
These Best Lock sets are a poor alternative to Lego and rank well below similar off-brand plastic interlocking blocks from Mega Bloks and others. On the plus side they are super cheap but construction of the individual blocks and other pieces are sub-par. They do not snap together like other blocks and the instruction sheets have very poor detail and it is hard to differentiate between the different pieces on paper. It is very obvious from the design of the individual models that the company designed them for display and not actual play. The car and helicopter falls apart easily with any play.Most depressing, at the end of constructing the different parts my five year old, who keeps everything, asked to throw it all away. You're better off saving your money and buying Lego.

Yes, unfortunately worth it to pay more for lego brand.
Just happened to pick this up at a local pharmacy for last part of son's present and to give added lego type fun. Frustrating because my son wants the gadgets it makes but they fell apart even as I tried to make them. Also missing a piece. Tire/axle design was wrong too. Wheels rub with nearest pieces. Managed to use extra REAL lego pieces to alter slightly and re-enforce, but pretty sad that they arent functional as purchased. Save your money!

Fun to build
My child likes this set for building and the figures. The price is much less than Lego and the bricks are compatible so overall I am satisfied.
