Shattered Tempered Glass or whatever they use is terrible quality and dangerous! INJURY!
I initially put a postiive review with 5 stars, but yesterday my scale glass SHATTERED by just Kick the side of the scale by accident! SUPER DANGEROUS and the glass flew everywhere like an explosion. Now my entre bathroom flooor has got shards of glass and whats more concerning is imagine this happened if I was standing it. could have cause SERIOUS INJURY! This could have been a faulty product, but still im really concerned. Before this, the scale was working perfectly fine and the app and scale were great. Really shocked. I hope someone from the comapny contact me for an explanation and to fix it.

Wonderful smart scale
Bought the Runcobo smart scale on a friend’s recommendation and it has exceeded all our expectations. Love the significant vital statistics measured by the scale, seamless and instant connectivity to the mobile app and ability to individually track stats for all members of our family. Highly recommended.

Great Smart Scale and App!
I am loving the runcobo smart scale and app. It seems to be accurate and give consistent results. I did not see where all 14 body metrics are listed in the description, so here they are ... it’s measures weight, BMI, body fat %, body type (actually you select this one), fat-free body weight, subcutaneous fat %, visceral fat, body water %, skeletal muscle %, muscle mass, bone mass, protein %, bmr, metabolic age. Also the description says the scale measures 14.4 x 13.3 ... not true, it’s more like 12.25 x 12.25. 14.4 x 13.3 are the dimensions of the box. It was easy to setup the app (email address and password) on the phone by entering my profile - name, birthday, height, male/female and an option for athletes. I did have a problem with my password (my fault) and had to email customer service. They responded back the next morning and took care of my issue ... actual customer support ... love it. WiFi and Bluetooth connections worked perfect on iPhone. When you stand on the scale each of the body measurements scroll across the screen. The app records/ displays each (group of) measurement(s) ... and show where you compare to “the normals /lows / highs” for that measurement. The app also graphs weekly, monthly and yearly trends. Note, individual measurement (groups) can also be deleted using the app. You can also access your account and data at runcobo.com, but some features/options can not be edited ... you need to use the app. There is one other hopefully helpful comment ... the instructions mention the capability of adding users. This can be done using the app by adding a measurement user or “a friend” ... using the account you create. OR (and not mentioned in the instructions) another user can set up their own account on the same scale using their own email and password.

Just ok, app is annoying and platform too small
Update as of 1/17/2021: DO NOT TRUST THE POSITIVE REVIEWS... THEY ARE SHILLS!!!Last week at this time, there were still several 1 and 2 star reviews. Today, my review is the last remaining critical review so the “kiss a cute cat” email campaign is working. I am now receiving multiple emails a day and they have upped the ante by alternating to kiss a homeless dog AND cat and/or increasing the offer to 50.00Please do not buy this scale if for no other reason than their egregious business practices and review manipulation.Update as of 1/11/2021: DO NOT TRUST THE POSITIVE REVIEWS... THEY ARE SHILLS,!!I have received 4 emails in 3 days asking me to remove this review. If I remove this review, they will send me a 30-dollar gift card and (even more bizarrely) “kiss a homeless cat!”This is a violation of Amazon’s terms of service (at least the gift card ... not sure about the offer to kiss a homeless cat since I suspect the TOS is silent on that). It also proves to me that all the positive reviews are shills and not to be trusted!———————————————————————I will admit that I’m much larger than I want to be. But I’m trying to change that and wanted a scale to help me track my progress. I bought this based on the reviews and the fact that it was a featured daily deal.Initial setup with my iPad went without any issues. First use was as expected. It did sync with Apple Health. But after using it a few days, it is confusing. The display doesn’t automatically update with the most current weigh-in. It still shows the results from two days ago and can’t figure out how to get that to update. Even more annoying is that the display on the iPad doesn’t automatically show when it is measuring so you aren’t sure if it registering. Since you have to try to stand very still through the measurements, you don’t want to wiggle around to try to see the display. If you’re skinny, you can look down. If you’re not, and can’t see your feet you can’t.Also, I tried to re-pair with WiFi and it just got stuck at 90 percent... no error message... just hung.Next problem is the size of the platform. The scale is very proud of th3 fact that it measures up to 396 pounds. But if you are overweight, you’re stance is wider because you’re legs are large. Unless you squeeze your legs together, it is difficult to get your feet lined up on the sensors and stand perfectly still while HOPING the scale is actually working. I weighed myself twice this morning and only one of them was recorded. In fairness, it appears that the size of the platform is pretty standard but I don’t know why manufacturers go to the effort of engineering a product that will accommodate larger weights but the the physical size will not. It’s like they’re saying “we want your money but don’t want you to actually be able to use the product.[LCAR]
