This was supposed to be an exact replacement for my Yamaha Rav 250 remote control for my Yamaha RX-V550 A/V receiver. It's not the same and it doesn't have all the buttons that I need. If all you're needing is the power on and power off and volume up and down, then this one will work, but I was hoping that you could use all the buttons to do a whole lot more. Too much trouble to send back.

Really just needed it for volume control, but would be nice if it worked for other feature.

Did not fully work with my Yamaha reciever, even though it was on the list. Only volume keys work with my reciever

This is a cheap Chinese knock-off with the first give-away being the "made in China" sticker over the Yamaha logo. I ordered two of these, the first worked for a day then the power and standby buttons quit working. When the second one arrived, the volume buttons worked but nothing else. There are much better replacement controllers out there that cost about the same amount and work so I strongly urge you to do a product search before buying this. The retailer is very accommodating, he just needs a better product.
