Wonderful little machine . . . I have a need for a laminator that can handle moderate use and this machine does the trick.The Swingline GBC Fusion 3100L replaces my old GBC H525 which was an absolute behemoth to store and use. The 3100 is light, easier to store and it works just as well as the H525.The machine is light and it is made of plastic. If you are in an environment where ultra-durability is needed, you might be disappointed. If you work in an normal office environment with responsible adults you will be fine.The machine warms up fast, the buttons make it very simple to set up and it runs the pages through quickly.Very pleased with the machine . . . for the Amazon.com price it can't be beat!

Alas, the smell. 😱 Well, it goes away...three days later! 😅 Anyway, the GBC Laminator, for the price 💰💰, didn't disappoint. It even arrived on time ⌚️, albeit not in a box 📦.The laminator has performed well and not ⚰️💣 after first use, like other brands I've read about. Full disclosure: I've only used it once. I only needed one sign laminated and this unit came with a BUNCH of pouches ( 25 or 30, I think). Which was cool 😎. (I made the mistake of buying a useless pack *single sided* sheets, I have no idea HOW those were supposed to work!) Anyway, this looks sexy 🦊 and works fairly quickly 🖨🗜🕑, if you go slow as it says in the manual. Or rather let **the machine** pull the item through, and YOU don't push or pull. I did t right, and my sign came out nice 👍🏿! One reviewer mntioned bending, hm? Not an issue for me on my initial use. The manual pictures are wierd, but it works, and that's all that matters 🆗! It has preset temperature 3mil and 5mil but I think it is way to hot. Most of all are slightly band (like wave) and the shape can't make straight back. Preset temperature can't adjust temperature. Photos and large font images laminated looks very ugly. I don't know how it say, it is not bubble but there is air in the whole sheet. it seems doesn't stack well between laminating pouch and paper. I used Swingline GBC EZUse Thermal Laminating Pouches. I tried other old machine that is much much better finish than Swingline GBC Fusion 3000L 12 Inch Laminator, and it doesn't bend at all. I can't return it because I've been figure it out and finally realized this problem after 30 days.I must update this review with changed 1 star to 4 star because I was wrong.I had contact swingline GBC customer suport about this issues and they sent me a replace quick. I really appropriate their kindness and support. This time I tried 2 different brand of laminate pouches. One is Swingline GBC EZUse Thermal Laminating Pouches and the other one is Apache 100 Pack of 5 Mil. The Swingline GBC EZUse Thermal Laminating Pouches are has same problem but Apache 100 Pack of 5 Mil pouches are very less problem. So it means most of problem caused by the laminating pouches. The machine is fast and works good but it is not perfect. I think it still seems way to hot.

Lol, sounds a bit silly but it's smooth and fast, so we love it. Compared to the previous machine that it replaced which had a grindy motor that finally gave out after being rigged a few times... It feels like luxury to not have to fuss with because it just works well.3000L : We use it to make signs. It was well worth the extra investment to have a machine that has functioned well and lasted. We were had gone through about 6 or 7 of the $40-$50 thermal laminators in the previous two years, so the difference in $ was easily made up for in terms of convenience and energy into replacement efforts between the two situations...I would purchase it again.

It worked well at first. Laminated four or five items.Then it mangled two documents. The first I was able to flatten somewhat with an iron. The second is permanently stuck inside the machine.Maybe I can disassemble it and recover the document. After that the machine will go into the trash.

After going through 3 different laminators that couldn't handle the amount of work we put them through, we decided to spend more to get a tougher machine. We followed the advise of HQ, we bought this laminator. I couldn't be happier. The speed and quality of lamination.

We use this for laminating an informational flyer for our clients. This is not meant for frequent, heavy duty use and would be better suited for a home office, but it works great and serves it's purpose for our needs.We wore the last one out in just a couple of years, but we got our money's worth!

My previous laminators had all died and I was looking around for a new one that would handle doing quite a few sheets in one session without saying "no more, I can't take any more!". I really love how quickly this one heats up and it handles the thicker pouches that I like to use when laminating cardstock (65-80#) paper. I've processed 20+ sheets in one session and I've never had a problem with any of the pouches not holding together as the laminator wasn't hot enough.
