I received my plates today. The picture has the plate with a horizontal gimbal in place. Both of the ones I received have horizontal gimbals. There's not even holes for a horizontal gimbal to be placed. I'm not happy because I have a big tournament coming up next week and I don't have the plate that I ordered! Now I'm going to have to attempt to drill holes in the plastic to put the gimbal in horizontally. Other than that the backing to the plate is very high quality. Seems like it will be very comfortable reeling in a big fish on it.
