Anchor Hocking Montana Glass Jars with Airtight Lids Canister Set, Brushed Metal, 3-Piece SetI never much spent time organizing my dry goods. In fact, i never much bought dry goods except for cereal and things that would survive a nuclear holocaust. This caught up with me and now i am filling my cupboards and cabinets with better stuff like rice, nuts, figs, etc.This created a problem which I hoped that Anchor Glass Jars would help with. I was quickly tired of reaching up and down for goods to pull from cabinets and then resealing the packages. Then i started to cover my counters with these goods which quickly made a clutter and sometimes resulted in spillage.These jars are just what i wanted. So far they don't appear to be too fragile and seem to be of a fine quality glass. I personally liked the large sizes and variety pack as i like to buy some things in bulk and want to keep them filled and other things prove a little goes a long way.When you put the lids on you can feel the air lock for freshness which caught me off guard. The simple design proved to be highly functional as well. Well done Mr Anchor Engineer!These did appear to be a bit pricier than many of the other jar options but I took a gamble that it would translate to quality and larger size options. I have not been disappointed thus far.Definitely, research and find a good price point before buying this type of item but I find these an excellent option for pantry or counter storage.The would do a good job storing quick access stuff for kids or at the office like cookies or candy as well as more serious cooking goods like coffee, beans, rice, etc.I hope you enjoy yours as much as i enjoy mine.

These are fantastic. Just what I've been looking for. This 3 piece set is the way to go. Especially if your trying to figure out what size you need. I know how hard it can be shopping for sizes. Ingredients are sold by weight and these items are listed by volume. Weight is also inaccurate cause different ingredients may weigh the same but have different volumes. Even if they are too small you can always utilize them for something useful and then get bigger sizes. We try to purchase bulk size items to save $. We wanted glass containers to store them in - that would eliminate the worry of plastic / BPA. Maintain a great seal for freshness. And still look great. It's really hard to find a large size container. The largest sized containers only hold up to 5lbs if that. We plan on putting everything in glass jars. I wanted them all the same color, but this deal was too good. They still look good even though they are different . You can refer to the images and see the sizes. I put standard cans next to them for a visual comparison. FIRST PIC: The outer black jar and silver jar are the 64oz size. Smaller one is the 48oz and the larger is the 96oz. SECOND PIC: The 2.5 gallon size. We put a 30 lb of rice in that, put the rest in the small 48oz sized one and had a little bit to spare. Next to it is the 1.5 gallon. We can almost fit an entire 10 lb of sugar, with just a little left over that we put in a small mason jar. We also use this size for our 10lb bag of flour. We can put about 9lbs in. The 96oz is brown sugar. I can't remember the size of the bag(it was the warehouse sized one) but we squeezed in as much as we could. We then rolled up the left over, taped closed and placed it in a storage container in the closet. Having a glass jar is also a great when going shopping. You can easily see what you need to replenish by glancing at the shelf. The opening is also large enough to fit a 1 cup scoop without any awkward turns / angles and prevents items from spilling.

I love my Anchor Hocking drinking glasses, so when I was looking g for a high quality food canister, as soon as I see this from Anchor Hockibg, my search was over. These canisters are high quality, well thought out items priced competitively with all the junk being sold.

I like the look. The seals are good. The tops aren’t a smooth texture, they are kind of rough so maybe that’s why some reviews mentioned harder to clean the outside of the lids. I’m happy with them. They hold plenty of products

I ordered these because they were American made. I like the style and the seal is OK, but one of the canisters isn't smooth at the top making it a struggle to get the lid off. I suppose I could try to sand it down.

I was looking for good glass, air-tight, (but not ugly) pantry organization and I am SO glad I found these from anchor hocking! I love that they are all sourced and made in the USA. (So much better than buying cheap crap from china) they look great and they keep my flour and sugar fresh longer than keeping them in their original packaging! So happy with these!

I love these and wish I would have purchased them forever ago! The lids stay on great and seal well, they’re not too tough to pull off either. Easy to wipe down the outside when needed.
