Works well, decent price.
I’m very pleased with this compost. I wanted to plant some delphinium seeds indoors. This has great texture, is a really decent sized bag..it will do several more years of seeds. Very easy to use. I’d suggest wetting it before adding to your seed trays as water does tend to sit on the top once it’s compacted. Out of 24 seeds 18 have germinated which is a fair success rate. I work on loosing a third so this was fairly effective. I’m happy with the quality and it was great having it delivered to my door. I’d definitely recommend this and the price was very competitive…less than our garden centre.

Excellent quality product.
This is a finely graded compost that is ideal for seedlings. I bought this after being disappointed with the poor quality seed compost my local garden centre was selling. Highly recommended.

5* seed compost
This seed compost is perfect.Easy to use it is fine and absorbs water evenly. The reason I gave 4* rather than the 5* it deserves is that I ordered 2 bags but only one was delivered and I’m still waiting for the other.

Great quality, no lumps.
Lovely and fine compost soil. Not one clump. I’d bought the well known commercial brand in the yellow bag to sew my seeds and it had clumps, sticks & alsorts innit. It’s spoilt my seeds growing. Going to use this and transfer & hope they grow. Such great quality. I’ll buy again.

Ok if you mix with perlite
It was ok. Didn’t have much luck to start with as it seemed to ‘cement’ together after watering. But after mixing with perlite I had a lot more luck with my propagators.

So far so good
So far so good. Using this to rescue perennial seedings that have been damaged by being in waterlogged compost. So far so good. The seedlings are picking up.
